RPGs have never really been at the top of the selling lists, with a few exceptions. The reason why those games are at the top of the lists is because they're easy to pick up and play straight off, rather than an involved storyline game that you need to have a few hours of intensive gaming on.
NO. NO IT REALLY WASN'T. IT WAS PRETTY PRINCESS DRESS-ME-UP FOR £40.
And as for KH, it isn't Final Fantasy and it isn't supposed to be. That's why FF characters are in more side-roles.
Kuja. Destroyed an entire planet (Not just burnt most of it like Kefka did), started a war that destroyed the 4 most technologically advanced nations on the original planet, took a direct hit from Bahamut that only managed to make him bleed a little from his forehead, created an entirely new...
RPGs should never have sequels. The majority of them fail quite horribly. There are a few exceptions to this rule, but none of them are a Square sequel.
The problem with sequels is that if the original game was popular enough to spawn a sequel, you've gotta be damn sure that the sequel is just...
I don't think BioWare or Bethesda should collaborate with Squeenix, they all make very different games. BioWare focus on d20 D&D RPGs, Bethesda focus on true-roam RPGs and Squeenix focus on story-oriented JRPGs.
Eidos was bought out by Squeenix about 10 years ago, so no doubt they will take...
I'd say Bahamut for the nice junction abilities he has and Eden for the sheer amount of damage you can do with it. The first ability in any Final Fantasy that could break the damage cap. Devour is also epic, lets you get insanely high stats with no junctioning.
Pretty much a given. You also want to save your overdrives for when the Boss moves upwards to do Depth Charges, so you can bring it back down before it drops them for 150 damage.
Depression is one thing - Cloud in AC MAY be depressed, but most depressed people don't go around talking constantly in a monotone voice, whining. And considering the whole of FFVII take place in about 2-3 months at most and she was absent for half of it, Aeris wasn't the love of his life...
A post was deleted? IN MY THREAD?! BLASPHEMY!
And to clarify guys, my definition of emo is the attention-seeking "depressed" people who "cut themselves" horizontally across the wrist, shouting "No-one understands me!".
That's what emo means to me.
I mean seriously, if you want to kill...
The free-roamable world is getting smaller and smaller - FFXIII had very very very little freeroam. The music is getting steadily worse too - Leona Lewis was used to created the main music of FFXIII. And that music quickly annoyed me after the 30th cutscene (10 minutes into the game) in which it...
I recently played through FF7 again, for about the 70th time. And nowhere - NOWHERE - in the game does Cloud exhibit any sign of being an emo. There are certain times where he is melodramatic, or where he is sad because he has a RIGHT to be, but I can't find any passage of text in the game or...
Wrong. Humans are descended from the Cetra. The "trueblood" Cetra were the ones who went to help the planet heal the wound from the fall of Jenova, the ones who became the ancestors of humans were the ones who hid away at the fall of Jenova.
NO!
NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO!
Seriously, keep the goddamn originals as original as they can be! They don't NEED to be remade.
The thought of ANY of I-IX having voice acting makes me cringe. I cannot take Cloud's FF:AC voice actor being there throughout the WHOLE game. Or Zidane's Dissidia...
No no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no
So on and so forth.
FF8 wasn't particularly my favourite FF, but I still play it occasionally. And the thought of an Anime version of Squall makes me want to slit my wrists FOR him.
Seriously, it'd be like Edward...
