The Triple Triad is my favorite side quest of any FF game I've played. It's uses are like others have said, refining magic and items to use for ultimate weapons/junctions. You can get a lot of higher magic faster than drawing/draw points as well.
I also loving playing it because of the fact...
Hrm, had a talk with my pops recently about this.
Apparently my family is Swedish with a little German on my dad's side.
My mom's side is English and some Cherokee Indian.
But my whole family that was alive as of when I was born were born in the States.
It's weird.
Same for me really. I got off work (overnights) and I should be sleeping and then looking for a better job, preparing for a new college semester, and going grocery shopping.
But I'm on here and playing Socom on the ps2. Win.
Showin the love to Blitzball!:drunk:
I never lose a game on my replays anymore, even the Luca game during the Yuna rescue is easier now that I've played the hell out of Blitzball. My team on most playthroughs:
Tidus
Ropp (same side as Tidus)
Jassu (center)
A Guado (can't remember his name, hes...
Yea, I've been at a sort of empty space when it comes to playing a game these days. But I saw CoM sitting in my closet before I came to work a couple hours ago, and I keep feeling the urge to actually play it.
I really really love KH, story/character/battle systems, so I'm sure if the battle...
I didn't see any posts when I came into the section, so I hope I'm not recreating a thread.
I got this game a few months ago (for the ps2) and I just can't seem to want to play it. I've played and beaten KH I and II, but I just can't put the CoM disc into the playstation.
I'm hoping some...
^^ Agreed! FF IX was the first FF I ever played, and Zidane will always be remembered to me as the most genuine hero. He's always upbeat and unselfish (except for the booty grab when they're boarding the cargo ship in Dali :D). He's just a warm hearted guy that can't resist the urge of...
I agree, XIII isn't really the FF game you want to use as a reference point. It's built more for advancing story telling while observing combat and making sure you win, but not having to do everything all the time.
A lot of FF games tend to eventually fall into the repetitive battles, and I...
I skimmed through the thread because I'm leaving soon, so I don't know if it's already been said or not , but!
Most or even all of the bosses in IX can be killed at level 1 (with the exception of Ozma I believe, but even that is a low level boss) Whether it's inflicting tents or using abilities...
VII - I was home from school on 9/11/2001, and I was re-playing it and took a break and flipped through the channels and caught a glimpse of the twin towers. That's always come up in my mind when I go to play VII. :shame:
VIII - No real memory, just how much I hated the entire game after the...
Physcial toughness - I'm going with Auron. I mean, after all, he's , and he STILL keeps going. ;)
Emotional toughness - Basch/Balthier from XII. Let's face it, having to is one tough place to be. As is having to .
Toughest looking - Jecht/Kimhari from X. Come on, a giant blue beast...
In order of need to play!
1. Legend of Dragoon - A fantastic, rather unknown game. It's first for two reasons: A) It's good (duh!) and B) If you play another game and then Dragoon, the graphics will keep you from playing Dragoon longer than 30 minutes.
2. Chrono Cross - One of my personal...
Currently focused
IX: Probably my favorite ever, and it was the first FF I ever played. I love the entire game.
Always on the back burner
VII: I always stop after the initial Midgar escape. Always.
VIII: I doubt I'll ever take this game seriously anymore, the final boss just wiped me all...
Hahaha, no worries. I'm getting used to the site lay out and blah blah generic new guy stuff. This is certainly on of the more in depth forums I've seen. I think I shall stick around.
(I know, everyone is super stoked about this)
:D
Hey everyone! It's your friendly neighborhood Seru_Kai! Yaaaaaaay!
I'm burning time at work right now, figure I'd find an FF forums. I love (LOVE) FF and most things Square related (I've not fully embraced the Enix part:humph:). If you wanna know more, then there is more to come...
