I decided to go back and play the game for like a third time, thoroughly. But the guide for FFIX stinks. It uses all that playonline crap. Rediculous. So I found a txt doc at gamefags and I'm doin gg. =] I've missed this game.

Heavy Metal in FF? I really don't see how that would work... I felt it was out of place at the beginning of FFX. I haven't played Derge. -shrugs- So what do I know?

I personally dislike Edea... But theres a story behind that. On the first game I ever played of FFVIII, I didn't bother lvling up much. This was actually my first time playing any final fantasy, (besides the first one on gameboy). So... I got to Edea at the end of disk 2, at level 35 or so...

As far as character development... In previous Final Fantasy games, I think leveling has been just plain rediculous. I think XII perfected it, in all honesty. 8, you leveled too fast, 7, much too slow... (from the little I played) 9, ehh.. about right actually, 10, much too slow also. I...

I'll try to get some pics asap. It wasn't the ships shadow, it was much larger than that. I'm thinking a glitch. But my friend thinks it's something else. -shrugs- But yeah, I'll get the pics as soon as I can.

Thats just how the axe / hammer weapon damage is. It can go really high! ...But it also goes really low. Their damage is not consistant. So if you want to chance it, use an axe or a hammer. But if you want sure fire results, go with a different pick. Ninja swords / katanas are amazing.

When you get high enough, maybe 45+, at the Stilshrine of Miriam where you defeated Zeromous. (spelling? I didnt feel like looking it up..) After you defeat that esper, you can go in there and kill a nearly endless number of dark lords. They drop blood darkened bones, and in large quantities...

I couldn't really get in to the story. Just seemed so long and drawn out. I know the justs of it though. The gameplay was amazing. I loved it. It was hard to get into at first, but once you get Fran and Balthier on your team, the game really picks up. The liscence board, weapons system...
