I still remember what I named everyone my first playthrough. I've matured a lot since then, really
Cloud: Mack
Barrett: Raekwon
Tifa: Woman
Cid: Cracka
Yuffie: Hoe
Red XIII: Dog
Cait Sith: Barnaby
Vincent: Willis
Good times. I always change my party names if I can. The last few have...
Exactly. If there's some music that pleases my ears, and it happens to be talking about how great Jesus is, then rock on. Some people might listen for the message, sure, but I'm in it for the sound, and I don't discriminate.
A lot of times listening to christian music doesn't have the slightest thing to do with taste; I listened to one of my favorite bands for months before I even realized they were a christian group, and I never would have realized it until I saw the lyrics written down and they were talking about...
Citizen Cope - Brother Lee
Album: Every Waking Moment
9/10
A kinda folky voice with an upbeat toe-tapping rhythm. Thoroughly enjoyable and worth investigating.
8.5/10
Really good mellow trip-hop. I've loved "In the waiting line" for a long time. They used it perfectly in Garden State, too.

I've been meaning to read Shatterpoint for ages but have just never gotten around to it. I've even got the eBook sitting around here somewhere.
As far as badasses go, though, the main character of Heroes Die is one of the baddest ever. Can't recommend it enough, really. I might go read it again...
Probably most of them, hah. I didn't use GFs much ever, really. Got them all the second time around for completeness sake, but still never found much use for GFs.
I guess I'm gonna go with the majority here and choose Auron just because of the badass factor. I have to say, though, Tidus was really a pretty good main character. He was a lot of the reason FFX was as fun as it was.
Well sure, just like no one would be caught dead using Vincent after level 50 or so, but I still admit to using him in my main party my first time through FF7.
I liked Kimahri as a storyline character, yep. But it just always seemed like there was a better choice when it came to combat.
I was never a fan of Buffy or any of Whedon's other stuff, but I really enjoyed Firefly. I watched the entire series on dvd in one weekend. I would have watched it religiously if it had kept on, for sure.
Hell, spring break is coming up so I might have a day or two of boredom, I might watch it...
Same, actually. I read all of the New Jedi Order and Dark Nest, but I haven't touched any of the new series. The funny thing is that I undoubtedly would have, but they refused to offer the first book in paperback, and I wasn't about to pay $30 for another star wars book. Hope they know they lost...
I think a big difference is that over here people use the terms "College" and "University" pretty much interchangeably. So when we say "off at college, lots of fun", we mean university.
Good luck on Cambridge, though. One of the things I regret from high school was never caring about my...
