Nice to meet you, Valodes Diggory :D
You should fit right in... Everyone else here seems to hate football, too.
Avoid the grammar Nazis (unless you want people to point out your bad grammar).
Jack turned to Nimble. "What happened to the woman who was thrown at me? Did she have any burns? Did that knight kill her?" Nimble shrugged. "I don't know, honestly." Jack walked off toward the gate. Nimble ran after him.
"What are you doing?" Nimble asked.
"I'm curious to see what happened,"...
"I was thinking you can use this for you friend."
Nimble watched the stranger's face to see what he was saying to her, then he offered her some herbs. The herbs were among the kind she was looking for. Nimble curtsied in gratitude and accepted the herbs.
Nimble went to work immediately. She...
Nimble felt the approach of a stranger and turned around. It was the elf-like creature that was nearly cut in two earlier. The elf was saying something to her. Since the stranger had not yet attacked her, she figured he probably had no intention of attacking.
Nimble had not caught the majority...
Nimble blinked. She was frozen in place, trying to make sense out of what happened. She knew one thing: she nearly died. In a blink of an eye, that knight had two swords at her throat. That knight, for those few moments, had her life in his hands. For those moments, she was nothing. She was no...
I found out the effects of the black flame, so I edited my last post accordingly. Is that ok? If not, I have the old post saved and I could put it back in.
I've learned that I can't afford the luxury of drinking hard liquor... and it has nothing to do with price. It has everything to do with the fact that I do horrendously stupid things when I drink hard liquor.
I stick to beer, or something with equal alcohol content.
OOC: Since I don't currently know the effects of Sceler's black flames, I'll just assume the worst.
Edit: I found out the black flame's effects, so I edited my post accordingly. The attack still remains the same.
IC:
Oblivious to the fighting around her, Nimble inspected Jack’s unconscious...
Jack looked on in immense relief to see the traveler rise again. He feared the traveler had died. Content that he had not caused the death of the traveler, Jack succumbed to unconsciousness.
Nimble wasted no more time. It was time to go to Jack, no matter the cost. Nimble gave herself as much...
Jack tensed as the woman's body flew full speed toward him. Jack had no place to run, since he was still surrounded by the flames. The body landed full force into Jack and the two bodies slid across the ground. Jack was momentarily immobile due to the wind being knocked out of him.
Nimble...
Hmm...
1) Whoever exists that is my intellectual and philosophical equal. (I don't meet very many people I feel the need to date.)
2) I don't know anyone on this site well enough to date... Most of the people in this forum are too young for me, anyway.
Nimble watched in mute horror as the black flames made a barrier between herself and Jack. She fervently tried to think of a way to extinguish them to no avail. Jack watched tersely as he waited for the traveler to wake up. He looked up as the red knight shrugged off attack after attack as if it...
"What's wrong with being human? Not to mention, you look pretty hot..."
The red-headed woman flared at the question. "Because I am NOT human," the woman said vehemently. The woman stopped short of explaining that taking the form of a human was akin to taking the form of an insect. Her form had...
Nimble and Jack had already reached the top of the wall in their haste. "Jack, use the antidote on the traveler. Treat yourself before you go," Nimble commanded. Jack nodded and leapt off of the wall. He stuck something into himself for a split second, then he bound off to treat the fallen...
The gargoyle flew on for a bit. Daybreak was growing nearer. "Where are you going?" She had hoped to beat the group to Boldred so that she could verify whether or not New York existed on this plain. Then she would trail the group to New York. The feasibility of this plan, however, sprung only...
The draft wouldn't affect me. Therefore, I would have no need to dodge the draft nor to change my beliefs on politics.
However, being a former soldier, I've noticed that people tend to retain whatever political beliefs they have while in the Army as they had before they joined. I have similar...
Today I'm selling anti-VD buttons. Tomorrow, I go to work and do homework like I do almost every day.
VD is probably one of the worst holidays of the year. It's not even an adequate excuse to drink, as there really isn't anything to celebrate.
One of the users here joined a forum in which I am a longtime member. He struck me as interesting. He mentioned being a part of this forum, so I followed him here.
