Sadly, this is ort of ture but that doesn't some games any less bad. Bioshock is one of the very few action games with an awesome story that can only be done on a video game. FFXIII tried to do the same thine but it ended up being porrly receivied by fans although non fans enjoy the game despite...
As a company is their job to make money, I agree largely with what you said. Another thing I like to point out and its key factor is the audience, Final Fantasy games had always been for everyone of all ages but mostly kids play nintendo systems. Some of us who are now adults (or going to be...
I like your post and I also enjoy that they created their own fate as opposed to just some force manipulating all the events in the story. Although it can also both ways as Squall meeting Edes and Cid and convincing them to start SeeD had always been destined to happen or else none this would...
You summed up my thoughts exactly, Sequels of RPGs should not be made unless they can do it right. Kingdom Hearts was a sleeper hit, it didn't even garner as much attention as it should due to the fact that most people believed that it was Disney game and most licesned games are terrible...
The Final Fantasy series is the divisive series in gaming. Just on topic of FFVII alone, a lot fans say that, "This is the best game ever, lol!" and its haters, "FFVII is overrated lol" but nevertheless that is what makes it unqiue. The true sequels and prequels kind of ruins that enjoyment of...
One question I gotta ask fans is, why do you people like this romance thing so much? It doesn't help that in the game itself where you to do certain tasks to score a date with Tifa, Erith or any other character.
I would agree with you but from I observed, impressive graphics had always been a staple of the series. Granted, there weren't always high quality but it is often comparable to most JRPG games in general. Just look at FFVIII alone on the PS1 especially with the CGI but the previous poster said...
I do agree mostly with thte op but I am going to to stick with the majority on this thread. Square enix is all about doing different things, starting the first game where you coulds actually see your characters as well as the enemies they fight to the fourteenth game where you have a massive...
I hadn't played the game myself but some of the fans feel that the dark knight Cecil is better than the Paladin despite eveidnce to the contrary. He gets better after you level him up but is Cecil that much better a s a Dark Knight than a paladin?
Heck, going from FFIII to FFIV may had taken some getting used to. The ATB thing was something fans didn't expect at the time before then, it was just a Dragon Quest esque battle system with character sprites facing forward instead of HP windows.
You know while FF had its serious moments, it never took itself seriously and it even laughed at itself sometimes. The FFXIII took itself somewhat too seriously epsecially with all the melo drama in the story and the dialogue. It felt like some anime game, not a FF game.
The one thing that...
One the things that made Final Fantasy so great was the emotionally intense moments that th series had especially with Uematsu doing the music. One of my moments is where in FFVI, Locke finally had some closure on his girlfriend dying, how Cyan lost his whole livelihood as wella sthe kingdom of...
things screwing up at the wosrt possible moment!
MOD EDIT: Can you please put a little more effort into your post? This is a spam post in a post count section. Just elaborate more on the "moment" or what screwed up. Thank you.
