I say X, i enjoyed the story the most, and it had great plot twists and a great ending. some days though i think VI might be just as good or better.

top 3 are VI,Tactics, and X. VI for best characters. Tactics for best gameplay. X for favorite story and music. m\it changes often but these 3 are usually my favorites, depends on what mood im in honestly.

Celes, I felt really bad for her throughout the game, and i thought it was great how she came back and got her life back together. others would be Yuna, Kefka, and Auron.

X is my favorite soundtrack. To Zanarkand, a Fleeting Dream, Ending Theme, Tidus Theme, a Clash of Aeons, and the Hymms. Just about the whole soundtrack was great, although i do not like the Otherworld track at all, but thats my only big complaint. EDIT: I think this thread should be stickied...

Nice list, IX was Uematsu's favorite work he did. I've only heard the OG soundtrack but heard good things about Crisis Core's OST that one is a tearjerker, classic track

I dont think it's going downhill, I think they are just experimenting around. XIII wasnt terrible in my opinion, I liked it better than a few of the other ones. I havnt listened to the whole soundtrack of the game so i cant judge that yet. i hate to use this line, but i think it is relevant to...

I didnt want to see spinoffs for this game in the first place. I'd rather they just leave the game alone as it is, and focus on making s new original Final Fantasy. Or maybe actually finishing Versus XIII instead of focusing on the compilation of VII.

X's OST happens to be my favorite OST along with VI's. I can respect your opinion though, but what exactly did you not like about the X OST? I thought it was nicely varied and great for the most part.

I saw a brad new FFX(greatest hits edition) for 15 bucks on Amazon. I suggest people get that to try the game out, because you never know if a used game is going to work right.

IT was okay. If you like the FF series I say get it, but It's not in my top 5 FF's. Story was all over the place, most of the characters werent really interesting, Cloud is a bum. That is all.

I didnt like it at first, but on my 2nd playthrough it was actually pretty fun. It was kind of easy though, just keep usin The Jecht shot.

I think it is. i liked the story, most of the characters. and it has a great soundtrack. the gameplay is fun too. its more linear, but still enjoyable none the less, and it ahs soem fun/challenging sidequests. i think if you like RPG's you should pick this one up.
