Alternative/indie rock and post-punk, mostly.

MOD EDIT: Can you please add a little more content to your post? This is a spam post in a post count section. Give us a little insight as to why you like alternative/indie rock and post-punk. Thank you.
It's the best battle system in the series. It gives you a great amount of freedom with giving you the opportunity to switch characters on the fly, and seeing each turn beforehand allows for some elaborate tactics.
This song represents the death of music: it has no redeeming quality. I love the video, though. It's so depressing! Just look at the painfully fake smiles on their faces.
It'd be perfect for a violent brainwashing session.
Bloc Party - Halo
The infectious guitar riff, the pounding drums, Okereke's vocals - this song is so good I'm not even mildly bothered by the crappy production.
I’m interested too, but I’d like to know more about the survivors’ culture. Are they religious? What is their social structure like? Is the leader of the tribe the supreme leader or is there some kind of democracy? Are the colonies hostile towards each other? Are their names conventional or more...
Name: Judge Malius (born Halian Nemyros Maleej)
Age: 46

Appearance: A handsome, white skinned man in his mid-forties, Malius's features are strong and masculine, with a few scars running across his face to add to the charm. His dark brown, crew cut hair is graced with...
I've been an atheist since the age of 15. I don't believe in God or the afterlife. I believe the human experience is ultimately insignificant, and that the only thing that matters in this universe is progress, to move forward. We're not here to reach some kind of personal enlightenment but to...
During the battles, I'd like to hear several battle themes from the series mixed together. Like, in the FFIX stage you'd hear a medley consisting of songs like The Dark Messenger, Last Battle and Assault of the Silver Dragons.
I know it's an impossible wish, but oh well.
This game was a big disappointment for it. Before it was released, it looked like the best game ever, but now I feel like it was the biggest letdown I've experienced with video games. The gameplay was alright and the premise was fairly promising, but they just managed to ruin it somehow. The...
Betrayal? That's just exaggeration. It's not like they were ever pledged to Sony. Also, Square "sold out" long before this. Advent Children, anyone?
Overall this was a clever move by Square-Enix, I think.
Holy shit, now that's what I call pwnage. How stupid can Sony possibly be? They couldn't be arsed to pay for FFXIII's exclusiveness, and now they're paying the price. Judging from public reaction I'm guessing the Xbox 360 version will sell better than the PS3 one in Europe and the US.

Opeth - Dirge of November
Lost, here is nowhere
Searching home still
Turning past me, all are gone
Time is now
The omen showed, took me away
Preparations are done, this can't last
The mere reflection brought disgust
No ordeal to conquer, this firm slit
It sheds upon the floor, dripping into a...
The final boss was a disappointment for me, too, mainly because Vayne's character was so undeveloped. I didn't feel anything about him: just some eminent guy who the party hadn't even met before. I was hoping there would've been at least few encounters with him during the plot, like Kuja...
I recently bought Dark Passion Play by Nightwish. It's a really great album, doesn't really make you miss Tarja at all. ^^ Anette is a wonderful singer, and her voice seems to be more versatile than Tarja's. My favourite songs from the CD are The Poet and the Pendulum, Master Passion Greed...
Hmm. I'd say Necron. When I was first time playing this game (it was the first FF game I beat), the last boss was incredibly hard for some reason. I didn't really care about the char development system and didn't bother leveling up either. Now when I think about it, I wonder how I ever managed...
I've played the game three times through now, and I've never ended up using Kimahri after Besaid. His spells aren't that strong and he isn't much of a melee fighter either. I'd say all you need is Tidus, Yuna and Auron, plus Wakka perhaps.
Hey. I just registered to these forums, and thought I should stop by to say hi. ^^ I'm a seventeen-year-old student from Finland (I hope you've heard of it!) and I'm a big FF-fan. My favourite ones are I, II, VI, VII, IX and X, but I like the rest too. I also play guitar (I suck at it, though...
