IX rewards you with the Excalibur II, if you make it to the final dungeon in 12 hours. That's the only one I know of.
The longest I've spent on an FF is one save of X that has near 90 hours on it, that's with accomplishing nearly everything in the game, all celestial weapons and seals, etc. XII...
I don't really like the systems where you can change job classes, like III and V. I think a character's personality should be reflected in their skills. I do like the systems like IV, IX, and X, where every character pretty much has a set class, though it does remove some flexibility...
I haven't gotten into Tekken before, but I played a demo of 6 in a little Playstation bus at a local event, and it was good fun. I'll probably pick it up for Xbox 360.
I admit part of the reason it intrigues me is it has some potentially awesome cosplays. ;)
I picked up the first one a few months back to see what it was all about, not expecting anything great, mind, just some fluffy entertainment, and...
Wow, it is really bad, isn't it? The writing is really mediocre, so is the plot, but it wouldn't offend me except Bella is really icky as a...
Just about everyone has an opinion on this, and here are my two cents:
There's a theory that legalizing abortion causes a drop in crime: i.e. that unwanted kids are more likely to grow into criminals and have various other problems. You can read the basics of the theory on wikipedia...
There may be a link with the polyps, but not with the early puberty. I think the number of girls 10 to 13 or so on birth control would be extremely small, and even then it would be for medical reasons, PMDD (pretty much what CasinoChips described with the really rough periods) and so forth.
A...
Being bi myself, I support gay marriage.
Additionally, I don't really feel that marriage should be legally recognized, except in cases of custody and breaking up property after divorce and such. I think it should be primarily a religious thing. If your church is cool with you getting married...
The PSN release of VII has been really high selling, so I figure a lot of people are playing it for the first time. If there's anyone like that here, or who has played it for the first time in the last couple of years: what do you think?
Most of us look at the game with a lot of nostalgia, so...
Why do people hate it? Because it moved their cheese. It didn't do what they expected/wanted. They expected a sweeping, character-driven storyline, and a slight tweak on the ATB or wait battle systems. XII was a lot different. Much the same reasons people hated on VIII when it first came out, it...
I was raised in a Baptist church, and baptized at 5 or 6. I definitely did it under my own steam, and was very hip with the idea of God and good and evil, but I knew extremely little of the world, and nothing about other religions.
Many sects of Christianity will tell you "once saved, always...

I have very mixed feelings on this. Not long ago, I would have told you I emphatically did not want a remake, but since seeing Advent Children Complete, I think they might be able to do it justice. (I think they raped Cloud's character the first time around, but the added scenes made him more...
Really, they're interactions can't be realistic, because they're not given enough individual characterization to have good group interaction. Most of the party isn't given much, and Penelo isn't given any at all. The really unfortunate thing is, I've seen some really good fanfiction of XII that...
VII's plot is really complex, and I understand why someone might think there are some plot holes. You've got Cloud acting as an unreliable narrator through half or more of the game, and a couple of plot elements are only ever explained in optional scenes, like the flashback in the Nibelheim...
I've read some really good books in the past year or so.
One is The Sparrow, which is about a Jesuit mission to another planet. It's really excellent in terms of characters and story, and explores a lot of things about religion from all sides. It's sequel, Children of God, is also really good...
Right now I'm reading The Sword of the Lady, by S.M. Stirling, it's the last in a pretty cool series in which electricity and combustion stop working. It's about how people survived and the societies that formed after "The Change."
I don't know how many characters is the right number. I think VI is the highest, with its 14. The lowest is V, I think, which had 5 (except for I and III, where there are four, but your characters are really just templates). Well, then there's X-2, which I won't count.
VI does a really good job...
As a bisexual, this really makes me laugh.
But in all seriousness, yes, women and men can definitely be friends, though I will admit it can be really awkward if one party is interested and the other isn't. That tension usually goes away if you're both in another relationship, though.
I'll...
