Oh I fully agree. I'm pretty good against most characters in the game. I can take on all the Manikins in the last dungeon (Feral Chaos, that is) relatively unscathed (and no, I don't spam brv-hp attacks) but ugh... Kuja and his Manikins instill fear unto my soul 0_0

Always used Vaan, Ashe, and Basch, controlling Vaan. They're just a perfect team, really. All 3 are good physical fighters, Basch especially, and Ashe is good with magic, so she's usually the one doing the most healing with Curaja, Vaan playing buffer

I made her my overall ranger/white mage character. I gave her the Vanish spell early on, then got a pretty strong bow way earlier than you're supposed to by getting lucky with the guards in Fynn. Afterwards, she more or less became my healer, with Firion and Guy doing most of the damage

First time I finished the game was pretty typical: Warrior Monk Red Mage White Mage However, then I decided to do the same, except replacing the White Mage with a Thief. Quite the difficult experience with just items and Red as my only means of healing!
