Hmm... if I have to pick a Het pairing... probably Cloud and Tifa. Aerith, I think, still holds feelings for Zack, but Tifa I think does have romantic feelings for Cloud. Cloud, on the other hand... you can't tell. He's a tricky little cookie to analyse because he never says anything on the...
At the time Vincent and Yuffie were just optional characters. It would have been very confusing for someone who was going through the game for the first time and knew nothing of those two to suddenly see them in the ending FMV. It'd be like 'Who the hell are they????' I know I'd be annoyed...
Too much of a dating game? I think you're reading too much into those scenes and failing to see what they were really trying to portray.
For example, the 'date' scene between Cloud and Aeris wasn't really intended to be a romantic scene between Cloud and Aeris. The whole date thing was what...
Dunno if this has been solved or not, but... you can just get both and install whichever one you want to play at the time. I have them both and currently have FF8 installed since I'm playing it at the moment, but if I ever decided to switch to FF7 I can uninstall FF8 and install FF7 to play. The...
I tend to favour the girls, so during the first part of the game my party is Cloud, Tifa and Aerith. After the Temple of the Ancients, it's usually Cloud, Tifa, and Yuffie. Though now I'm starting to branch out and have whoever happens to be in the party when I finish my training session.
I'm afraid I couldn't say on that one. I've never loved, and I don't think I've ever been loved. I've probably had people think 'she's cute' (or so I'm told) but nothing more than that. I know some guys have found me cute and then after getting to know me have quickly changed their minds.
I...
I adore Michael McIntyre. He's just so perky and his speech style is so easy to adopt! Me and my sister keep finding we make jokey comments the way he does now. It's a bad habit, really. XD
But seriously, I wanna get Michael McIntyre on the same stage as Jack Dee. The Happiest Man in Comedy vs...
This is my thread for my Final Fantasy 7 and 8 novelisations. Writing up these games has turned out to be a long-standing hobby, and I plan to write up all of the main games. I have plans for FF9, 10, 10-2 and 13. FF12... is under discussion. I also have plans ongoing for Crisis Core, Dirge of...
I was recently told by a friend of my sister that a woman who plays games like Final Fantasy is major pulling power.
This was news to me, as I generally found that guys were put off by women who played Final Fantasy and similar type games. (These men in question probably being the types who...
I personally loved the game. It was fun and light-hearted, which makes a nice change in comparison to the heavy atmosphere you get in the main games. And you got to have lots of nice outfits for the characters, so you could personalise each person's battle tactics in relation to what you wanted...
These aren't actually my pets; they belong to my family. But I practically lived with them, so:
Felix (cat): Fi, Fifi, Feliano, DOG (because he is a very large cat and we think he's just a border collie with a cat's head), Pepe le Pew
Perle (cat): Perliano, Rat, Miss 'Prrrt'
Owen (cat... a...
I've had this game since it came out on the GBA and I have never been able to complete it. I just cannot beat Vexen.
He blocks all of my cards, and I can only attack him from behind, but I can never get behind him because he keeps turning. And when I do try to go behind him he puts ice on the...
I concur. I just recently met someone who had never played FF7, and loaned him my copy.
Seriously, try some of the others. The graphics may not be as good but the storylines are fantastic.
Rydia, I know you probably sent me that friend request, like, two years ago, but I've just accepted it. I can't believe I totally forgot about this account. Bad me! :(
DarkSquall, I can't believe I haven't been on here in two years! I've accepted the friend request... even if it probably was two years old!. Sorry! ^^;
I think it would be hard to choose between FF7 and FF8 for mine...
FF7 because that's the world and story I love the most.
But FF8 because the world is 'light' in comparison to FF7, and if I was to end up in, say, Garden, I would actually be trained to fight. :3
Oh, I was 12 when I first played Final Fantasy. I borrowed Final Fantasy 8 off my older sister's friend. I had actually seen a trailer for FF8 on the tv around that time, and I was recommended the game by my friend.
Gosh, I remember when I got to the end of the first disc for the first time. I...
I had my first major shock in FF13, when it looked like Sazh had killed himself (before it was revealed he hadn't actually done it).
I was so shocked I dropped the controller and text my friend, saying 'OMG! HAVE SQUEENIX JUST DONE THEIR FIRST CHARACTER SUICIDE!?!?!?'
Given that I have spent six years writing up a full-out novel for this story, I think it's only fair that I judge it to have the best storyline. Otherwise, I wouldn't have spent those six years writing it up.
But as for why... well, I think they went into a lot of depth in the storyline...
