This is a story about life.
A man's life to be exact. Nothing special about this man, he merely lived his days as any other human would. He was as a child, ordinary. As he grew, he remained ordinary.
So why is this ordinary man with an ordinary life and an ordinary past the protaganist of this...
How did my thread about Palette Swaps end up in here... I clearly marked that it wasn't serious and was a thread about discussing them. Pay more attention.
Regardless, FFIX is the best anyway.
OzDok
Mod Edit: In that case, I apologise, though the actual topic was not very clearly indicated...
Final Fantasy: Spirits Within isn't really a good example, because it was mostly Square overspending horrifically that caused it to be a finacial failure.
And yes, Final Fantasy hasn't failed so far. It is slowly being pushed aside by competitors. The problem that Square has is that they take...
Best Music Track in Final Fantasy?
As the title states, pick a song from a FF game and explain eloquently why you believe it is the best, along with an example of the track if you can find one.
(By the way, if it isn't from FFIX, you're wrong.)
My choice would have to be The Soulless Village...
Oh look, FFVII has the most number of votes despite having one of the weaker storylines in the series. What a surprise.
I'd probably say FFIX, because of the fact that it blooms as an evolving storyline. Unlike FFVII, where it switches antagonists at Disc One and stays like that for the rest of...
Did anyone get what I was pointing at?
Squeenix confirmed that there was some sort of timeline, probably to prod the fans.
I was talking about how the original 10 installments take place on two different worlds that are shown to be linked together in FF9. They have their seperate timelines...
Well like I said, I think the jump from 6 to 7 begins on a new world, Gaia. Before that, Final Fantasy was set on Terra. So in FF7 they wouldn't really mention the War of the Magi because they knew nothing about it.
As for references, there are quite a lot. FFIV's Kain Highwind has a...
I don't know where they come in. Squenix actually confirmed that there was a timeline, either because there is one or they want to screw with the fans.
I think that 2 comes first, then 1, then maybe 3, then 5, 4, 6. Then the Gaia timeline begins with 7, 8, 9.
Neither, I was pretty indifferent to FF8. Whenever I try and play it these days I manage to get about half an hour in before I get bored and switch to FF9.
Alright, so everyone who is the least bit enamoured with Final Fantasy will have come across the infamous "Timeline" theories, where people try and figure out which games come before each other.
What if there wasn't just one world in Final Fantasy for the timeline to be on?
Please note that I...
Light Armour increases HP but has a lower defense rating, Heavy Armour doesn't have a bonus to HP but has a higher defense rating. IMO - it really doesn't matter.
If you want an easy Demon Wall kill, then haste and beserk is a good idea. If you throw those two on Baltheir, he'll do insane damage.
Defintely sounds like a scratch has damaged the data for one of the animations. The PS2 does have some strange glitches for PS1 games though, so you should definitely try it out on a PS1. If not, you should download the game from PSN or an emulator and the iso. Or buy the game again. Either way.
And the best Final Fantasy is...
And the best Final Fantasy game award goes toooooo......
Final Fantasy 9!
Reason?
NO PALETTE SWAPS!
That's right, each and every monster and boss in FF9 is original! No "pink version of the blue monster you fought a zone ago" nonsense, just pure...
