I can understand the comparisons you're pointing out but XIII is its own game. VII had the main plot of chasing Sephiroth while XIII's characters have magical tattoos and are trying to save people that turn into crystals. And putting "Black Sidekick" and "no offense" is offensive regardless...

I'd say it is worth getting. It is the last good FF game to come out(from the main series). If you hunt on E-bay, you can probably get a copy for $15 - $20. A good deal. Definitely worth getting if you like the older FF games.

A reboot of Voltron would be pretty cool. As for Thundercats, I haven't watched it yet. The only cool fact I know is that Lionel's dad's voice is the voice actor of the original Lionel in the 70s series.
