I don't think I'd really call that crying. To me it was more of a despair moment where he was just all alone with no way out. I don't know, the ending to VIII was pretty jacked up imo.

Yeah One Winged Angel isn't even one of the ones I had trouble with. Man with the Machine Gun and Battle at the Big Bridge were the ones that took me about 5-6 tries. Edit: Here's a screenshot of my challenge screen. :D

I seriously think that's the hardest I've ever cried in a video game. I was like... sobbing. xD They did that scene brilliantly. I usually tear up at one point or another in Final Fantasy games, but no other series has ever been able to consistently do it for me.

My favorites are Rin and O'aka XXIII. I don't even know why, xD just they add something to the world every time you run into them. I was also weird and liked collecting the Al Bhed magazine things to learn the language, and actually tried to learn it myself at one point.
