I quite enjoyed using my party of ladies on occasion: Tifa and Aeris, then disc 2 started and I had to throw in Yuffie... I often did enjoy some Cait Sith and Vincent, though. I just really didn't like Vincent's limit break D:<
I was hoping to see some gameplay in the trailer, but got some nice CGI instead. It seems Square Enix is really getting good at their CGI. Delicious, as usual...
Watching it made me realize how much I miss a good single-player Final Fantasy adventure. :'(
I think you have to either go down the snowboarding hill again (maybe? It's been a while) by accessing the town above the hill from the overworld map, or the snowy maze place is actually a location on its own, that you can access from the overworld map.
Wasteful talent here. Looks cool, but it's on a damn touch-screen phone. Nope.
Who the heck sits down in the car with earphones and plays hour-long sessions of a serious JRPG, while simultaneously receiving texts or calls? I bet 5% of players will actually finish this.
This actually looks interesting. If the players and critics alike respond positively to these updates, I may have to jump into the FFXIV craze via PS3 or PC if I can get a hardware upgrade soon. :)
Ughh this looks actually GOOD. Too bad I'm not willing to get a 3DS just for this game... I wish it was on major consoles instead. They could make it LOOK better, and it'd probably reach a larger audience.
... but then it'd take them at least 5 years to work on. -_-
I wish I could vote on this, but any chemistry between the characters to even call them 'friends' was lacking in this game. If these characters were more like CHARACTERS, and actually had some character development or experiences together, we might have more fun making pairings. Such a shame...
In all honesty, I'm fine with religions until they start going on about how the Earth is only 5,000 years old and state that evolution, dinosaurs, scientifically analyzing the age of rocks and fossils is all a hoax + use the bible as a personal rule book + do the whole 'homosexuality is a sin'...
Skyrim is totally worth playing if you can get it to look like this:
There's the HD texture pack and everything that you can add to it and it looks gorgeous. Which is why I need $100.
Almost too good to be true-sounding. But they sure as all hell better be making this and it better be damn good.
Also, if it's to be released on all major consoles... If it's not a PS3 exclusive, they'll be limited content-wise. They'll be forced to only make enough content to fit on 3 DVDs...
Oh, good. I got the wrong meaning because of one wrong word choice:
That should have been 'exceptions' instead, to correctly fit your sentence. The word 'examples' gave it the wrong and totally opposite meaning. So I thought you were using Dear Esther as an EXAMPLE of a game that focused too...
Of course. There are tons of new games that people just shrug off because it looks too 'out of the box' for realism or setting. The most attractive thing on the box nowadays is soldiers with guns. I understand your liking for female characters and how having a really strong lead character will...
Ugh, I know your feelings, bro.
If someone judges you for playing what you KNOW are classics, and games that are RPGs, where you play as a girl on occasions, etc, etc... To hell with them. Tell them to go back to their Call of Duty and mind their own damn business, to put it plainly.
If you...
If you (think you would) like suspenseful and scary games, definitely go for this series. But start with the first for the definitive experience. You'll be thrown off on what's going on if you start with 2 and I'd definitely not recommend it.
