Hello. I'm one of those creepy lot who barely ever post but still lurk around. Good luck running a forum, it's not hard when you get the hang of things.:monster:
Haha how ironic, I just fought him this morning. I lost, also. Level 40 is a bit under-leveled to be honest; I had a team of 50, 43, 43 with a back-up team of 35s in place. Even with protect, shell and haste, quickening chains doing 20,000+ damage, and Espers (He killed Adrammelech in one hit!)...
Haha I did that. I thought they were Ice Elementals, which were apparently quite strong, so I went a bit mad and took them all out with a 13-hit quickening chain. >_>
@Voxona: You're welcome.
Hmm, I'd have to disagree. The Zus, while excellent for making a large chain, have annoyingly long respawn times, and the Zaghnals can do a fair amount of damage in their groups (although they are good, as you said, for LP, with 2LP per kill).
At level 26, I'd recommend Golmore Jungle. The...
To be fair, I'd say Jecht was the real "final" boss of FFX; if Yu Yevon was meant to be remotely challenging, you wouldn't have been given permanent auto-life for the entire fight.
On the subject of Vaan, I sort of liked how he took more of an observer-like role than any of the previous main...
I don't recall Geosgaeno reducing damage from a Celestial Weapon-wielding attacker that much. I think the reason he hit very little was because the Celestial weapons require you to keep your health high to do a lot of damage.
Most fun fight for me = Sin on the airship. It was sort of epic.
The Dark Aeons are the strongest Bosses in the game, bested only by Penance who is unlocked by defeating them. Valefor is the weakest with somewhere around 700,000 HP. The title of "strongest" usually goes to Anima, but I'd have to say it's Yojimbo as you have to fight him four times in...
Hmm? It was two Judges (note to the original poster: Not Judge Magisters like Gabranth etc, they're just stronger Imperial Soldiers) with two normal soldiers accompanying each of them for me.
Anyway, if you plan to fight them normally, I'd advise (as Aerith Gainsborough said) getting to around...
I love it; it's currently my second-favourite Final Fantasy (X being favourite and not counting XII yet as I haven't finished it) and I adore it. The locations in the game are amazing; I love the blend of small villages and large sci-fi-esque cities. I thought Squall was a bit over-the-top with...
Gackt is probably my favourite Japanese artist. I don't like most of his slow songs but some of the loud, more rock-ish ones are brilliant. I can't agree/disagree with the whole "cocky" aspect of him as I've never seen anything from him other than music videos and one or two English interviews.
