SPIRA SPIRA SPIRA. <3
I've wanted to live in Spira since I was 11 years old and the game first came out! Haha. I love how it's got its own cultures and languages and lore. I thought it was the most developed and unique FF world.
I used both of them a lot because they kicked ass-- I remember finding Yuffie by accident and then reading about Vincent online waaaay back in the day.
That said, when it comes to the original game, I don't think they add too much to the plot. They have their own little sidestories but don't...
LOVED it! :) I thought it had the best character development since FF6 and it has my favorite FF soundtrack.
In fact, I'll go so far as to say "Rose Of May" is my favorite track in any FF, in all of its sweet simplicity.
Hey there :D
My favorite FFs are 6 and 10, and I have too many favorite books but I think, among them, are Patrick Rothfuss' "Name Of The Wind" and Ken Follett's "Pillars Of The Earth". Favorite TV series.... hmmm, that's a tough one, I don't really watch TV but I'm really enjoying Game Of...
I love a bit of everything, I think. Even some of that dreaded rap and country people love to hate on :P
be it black metal or Romanian folk music, if it's good, I'll enjoy it.
Rinoa. She's actually my favorite FF heroine overall (unpopular opinion, I know, I know :P). She's just this normal kinda upper-class girl who wants to save her town, and she gets in way over her head, but she tries. I love her straightforward attitude. She's also not perfect, and she knows it...
Diablos looks the coolest, but the most useful was Doomtrain, I think, simply because Meltdown is one of the spells in the barrage of jerkassery it hits its opponents with! :P
And I never had enough Meltdown spells... so Doomtrain has a special place in my heart :P
Rikku! She's bright and lively but she's not incapable of really emotional scenes... specifically the scene with Yuna on Gagazet ("Yunie... don't talk like that, we'll see each other again someday, okay?")
I also would make her the strongest character in my party by immediately transferring her...
It's my favorite FF game (tied with 6), because the world is so developed and the storyline was really original, in my opinion.
(I'm just enough of a loser that I'm going to be getting Anima or Ixion's sigil as a tattoo at some point. :P)
Beatrix. But I love Vivi and Garnet too, because I think they show the most development throughout the game.
...Also, Beatrix gets points because "Rose Of May" is my favorite track in any FF game ever.
I usually keep her name "Dagger" because that one ending line wouldn't sound right with any other name... :) though if I'm doing a playthrough where I change everybody's names I usually pick some other weapon just so it works out.
1. What's the first thing that comes to mind in the game, when you think of Final Fantasy VII?
Materia, Mako reactors and, for some reason, "You Can Hear The Cry Of The Planet".
2. What's the most important part of the story and why?
Hmmm... Aerith's death, because without that happening, the...
