For me that play 2-hours a week, it takes me 3 months, but you should make it in 40-50 hours of gameplay, which may mean one or two weeks if you have plenty of time to play.
Too much work and too much space needed for another FMV, imagine 3 more.
Though they could have made a substandard FMV scene for each one of them alone, to be attached to the final FMV contemplating each case. Though the results would probably be so bland that they didn't bother.
There is a common cliché in Japanese stories where, if the main character spends the night awake with another character, that means they are building a lasting relationship.
Though FFVII is soaked with clichés, we can't say that the scene where Cloud and Tifa spent means that they have built a...
They were not so important at that time, so I don´t care very much, as the final FMV is more an Aerith thing than anything else.
Anyway, it was nice of Square to think in not "spoiling" things for players who didn´t get one of the characters or both. .
In fact the romance is a negative aspect in most of the games because they are not needed to the plot and they make the story weaker. In Final Fantasy, for example, most of the romances are not well-developed or have deeper meanings: just the pretty girl develops a crush on the hero and they end...
The problem is that people is so concerned with the role of the "playful love triangle", which is much exaggerated by fans, that they can only see it as a competition between Aertih and Tifa.
Even the game contradicts that, showing that Aerith and Tifa were good friends.
If everyone answered...
I do like Tifa's personality, but I don't like the way she acts with Cloud. Well,if she was meant to be the kind of strong girl to serve as a role model for girls, she was an utter failure. When she is alone, she is fine. When she is with Cloud, she acts like his dog. It is as if she lived for...
For what I can get from the game itself and its spin-offs and related material is that, yes, the Cetra are extinct and yeah, the planet survived for, at least, more 500 years. We also see that Midgar is covered with natural life, so the planet must have healed itself someway.
We also know that...
It was surely not the case. If you read the development notes of the game, Aerith was one of the three playable characters designed for the game since the beginning. Maybe she fell through the cracks of the plot when they randomly decided one of the characters had to die, but, even so, her role...
You have missed that on my post. All those events you mentioned didn't really help changing her personality and it is about personality and personal traits that I was talking about. In the end, despite of being a Cetra or having such a tragic childhood, she ended being just a flower lady.
Of course it is my opinion, but I see them deeply connected after their deaths, but not in a special way, just the way every good person will be connected to each other.
I think both Aerith and Zack only knew each other truly in the Lifestream. IMO, after death, romantic feelings don't make...
Though there are some few interesting arguments in this thread, sometimes people give much importance to facts and words which would be meaningless in a real context. I don't think a word or a comment (I take everything outside the game as personal comments about the story, not facts) will be...
Usually when I talk about her, I call her Aeris because most people here in my country know her only from FFVII and the 'th' sound is a bit hard for us to spell correctly. When I write, though, I usually use Aerith. In the end, it is all the same.
I think it is overplayed by some fans.
Maybe SE realized that the romance was not a big part of the game and many fans wanted so badly romance that the prequels, sequels and other "official" statements by SE try to make the romances look larger than they were in FFVII.
The curious thing about Japanese games is that they not rarely used Christian symbolism to represent religion, though not saying that the official religion of the fantasy places is Christianism. Many games use churches, priests dressed as Christian priests and even uses crosses, like, for...
Probably the nicest place to live would be in Costa del Sol, but most probably I'd live in Midgar, after all I live in one of the biggest cities of the world, so I'd feel at home in the metropolitan chaos of Midgar.
Though, I'd rather live in an abstract place: with Aerith. Wherever she is...
The game is not that easy. It is not insane like, for example, Phantasy Star II, where the dungeons are insanely difficult even with all your characters maxed out. You can usually beat FFVII without grinding like mad but if you play recklessly, lose some key items and don't make any planning...
I didn´t know that back then when I played the game, but later, reading some walkthroughs, I´ve seen this info, though most of the walkthroughs don´t have this info.
