there's a scratch on my rear right door, and a mark on the wall from where the door hit it. I don't know who did it, though I have a good guess.
Just got this thing about a month ago. Was spot-free up until now. I'm sad.
That's for Japan. We have yet to hear any pricing for Vita games in the US. I have a feeling they'll be above $40 in some cases, but won't be in the $60 range. Going that high would put the Vita in direct competition with consoles.
I'm told my voice is deep, but I never thought so until I heard myself in a recording. It's kind of an eye(ear?) opener 'cause I don't look like I'd have a deep voice.
it's not bad for a modern cartoon. I'm biased since I grew up with the likes of Dexter's Laboratory and PPG, but it does get a smirk out of me now and then. The animation style reminds me of that show about some pirate boy named Jack, only the smiles are less nightmare-inducing.
Despite liking all of the games I've played, It's easy to see that the FF name doesn't carry as much weight as it used to. The series' ever-changing nature means that the severed fanbase will never get along, though they aren't the only problems the series is facing.
As much as I like xkcd, his cynicism can be a bit grating. Anyhow, It certainly won't affect our lives as we know it now, but it will be a large point of contention in science, and since science is all about finding out how things work, it will affect us indirectly if it's true.
EDIT: on second...
I'm likely repeating what's already been said in various ways: Legalize? Sure. Regulate? Yes. Designate 'no weed' zones like non-smoking areas? Definitely.
Square isn't different from any other developer. Some of their titles are bound to be hit or miss, and some not as 'good'. I applaud you for going out and trying other games than just FF, there are a ton of other great RPG series to be had that weren't created by SE (and many that are).
SE is buying up trademarks so that trademark trolls can't get their mitts on them and squat for money. This is normal. Not nabbing potential IP trademarks ASAP is shortsighted business practice.
It's the urge to be a good host. Be a good host, and the guests will be well-mannered in return...is the philosophy.

I know what you mean. I enjoy having people over, but I suppose that hospitality is sometimes taken for granted. I'll be having guests much less often now if I can...
Ditto for me. I have a long list of pet-peeves (like not washing hands before touching one of my controllers!) and I'd probably drive them away if I called out every little thing, heh.
Haven't really thought of that before. I do think they're good people at heart (I've known them for who knows...
I'm debating whether to get this at release or wait. I've just pre-ordered/bought a veritable truckload of games and my wallet is hemorrhaging.
I like ponies.
I'm not sure what I said is even relevant to your OP, I just tried to rationalize it into something I could pinpoint. FF doesn't feel particularly different to me in the way you're describing, so it's hard for me to relate. Though, I was quite the fanboy of VII back in '97.
Ya missed the point. I'm saying FF carries weight as a name and those spell names and whatnot that I listed are identified with the series. Few RPG series carry that much influence.
Sometimes, my friends like to hang around too much and it grates on my nerves. My house isn't your personal playground dammit, find something else to do! Just 'cause I've got a big screen TV and you want to watch a movie ಠ_ಠ
And the food I bought from the mart that's meant to last me a good...
It's not that FF is creative or uncreative, it's that those spell names and whatnot have become iconic staples of the series. When someone hears 'firaga' they think Final Fantasy, even though the word itself doesn't have any special connotations. It's the brand association that makes it so.
It...
The FF series consistently has staples that differentiate it from others. Example: Spell names such as Firaga, Blizzaga, Thundaga. Moogles. Chocobos. Ultima (Ultima Weapon). Ribbon. These separate the series from the rest purely by association.
