Earlier I was playing MGS3 on the Metal Gear Solid HD collection and I earned the trophy titled "Ralph Called" which you get for making Snake vomit. Probably one of the funniest accomplishments that I'm proud of. I'm trying hard to get the one for Sons of Liberty called "Rent Money" which is...
I've yet to get around to beating Star Ocean: 'Till the End of Time. It's been about 9 years. It took my like 6 to get to the second disc. I want to beat. I just don't care enough to actually beat it. :hmmm:
I've started playing Persona 2. I like it but I'm having a hard time getting into it...
Very, VERY modestly... :ryan:
I'd also like to add that I would download music frequently because of the difficulty of find some albums. However, I've found that iTunes isn't all that bad about having lesser known bands. The fact that I was able to buy American Pearl's one and only album...
Currently trying to learn Breaking All Illusions by Dream Theater. It's over 12 minutes long and has about 24 pages of tabs. I've just about got the intro down. I'm also off and on trying to learn Viking Kong by Racer X. It's going better than I thought it would.
I've been on a huge Nevermore kick for the past year or so. They have such a unique sound and their lyrics are outstanding. Despite the harsh, fast paced, heavy sound of most of their songs, I find them oddly comforting to listen to late at night in the dark. They're on hiatus right now, but...
I looked but didn't see one quite like this but don't hesitate to merge/delete this thread if there is one.
Not your favorite performance. What is your favorite and/or least favorite film portrayal of a fictional character from other work (literature, video games, comic books, etc.)?
My...
I'd probably say Final Fantasy X. I had started playing it in junior high but it wasn't until my 11 grade year that I finally beat it. Funny that I still had the same save file all those years.
The other one would probably be Xenogears, taking me the better part of a year. Still my favorite game.
I've been wanting to get into it for a long time. I do for a bit, but none of my friends can stay into anything. It isn't helped by the fact that card games pretty much...well, need two people. :sad3:
But I absolutely love it. I really wish I could play it a lot more. Maybe some day.
I was told I was "hot" by a girl just seconds after being told that she has a thing for creepy looking guys.
If I've ever wanted to be anything, it's to be attractive in a creepy way.
There was also one time, this lady told me she wanted to nibble on my chin. She may have had mental issues so...
Mercurial.
I wanted a new username and I was listening to Jeff Loomis while trying to decide and since I love that song I picked Mercurial. Though, I'll probably change it when I get the chance.
I consider music my addiction. That seems like a cheap answer, but when I have to go a day without listening to my favorite bands, I start getting really irritable and pretty grouchy.
As far as physical addictions go, I'd say probably strawberry cheesecake. Those never last more than 2 hours...
Finally catching up on all the sleep I lost over the last few days. Basically an 11 hour nap. I really accomplished nothing but I'm holding this one up there with the bigger achievements this summer.
My favorite one off the top of my head was Bruce Campbell's one line, post credit scene at the end of the Evil Dead remake. I saw the movie two nights in a row and sat till the end both times just to see it. A bit obsessive. But, meh'.
My other favorite would probably be Hugh Jackman as...
I used to. A lot. The only reason I quit was because I don't get on my computer much these days. While it is true that musicians lose money for it, I always felt music, or any form of artistic expression really, should revolve more around appreciation. I think if I ever became a famous musician...
The only reason I ever listen to the radio is when I'm in the car (mostly because it doesn't have anywhere for me to plug in my phone to play my music) or when I'm at work.
I don't much care what's being played. It just sounds too uninspired and generic to really grab my attention. You could...
I'm probably gonna have to go with staying up till really early in the morning and playing Metal Gear Solid 3: Snake Eater with my older brother. We didn't get along well when we were growing up. But after he got sick he was more brotherly towards me. I remember playing the last half of the game...
Metropolis Pt.2: Scenes from a Memory by Dream Theater
Mostly because the album was written to be that way. Each song picks up from where the last one ended and they're all trying to tell a story. So, if you shuffle the album, it really screws with the flow.
Also, I'd say Paradise Lost by...
Elevate - Winery Dogs
I already knew that a band consisting of Richie Kotzen, Billy Sheehan, and Mike Portnoy was going to have impressive compositions. But I didn't expect the beautifully written, insightful lyrics. I hope they keep putting out music.
I don't know if it could be called a wall but I typically find myself in states where I feel like I don't care. When bad things happen, my emotional response to them is almost immediately resolved. I stay mad or sad for only a little while. Then I go back to my apathetic self. I've been told...
Fairly decent
Can't much complain. I've learned a good deal about myself the last few weeks and have slowly started to get a develop a better understanding of what affects my moods.
