That's exactly what happens. If you close a gate then you erase all that you did there. You can reopen it and go through it like it's your first time there though. Closing a Gate seal also closes all Era's you unlocked via gates in that Area. For example, Closing the New Bodum Gate seal shuts...

The last game i finished would be Chrono Cross. I finished it with a party of: Serge, Riddel and Guile.(Allthough technically, The boss before the final final one was harder. So i count it as the true final boss. I finished that with Serge, Glenn and Guile ) The Colour of their names...

I would love to see a return of Seymour/Everae from FFX. But aside from that, how about a Battle royale against all the heroes from past FF games? once the DLC is downloaded, it would start with one battle. Helping out. Then we have FFVIII,FFIX and FFX(With maybe a seperate battle fighting...
