It has always been cool to say this game is overrated. I remember in middle school some people saying it was overrated. Hey maybe they were just playing devil's advocate I dont know. Of course it doesn't really matter what other people think of the game. It just matters what you think of the game.

I think maybe one of the reasons they arn't doing it yet is because they want to establish themselves as a company that can succeed on it's own games and not have to do remakes of the previous company's games. Food for thought.

The spinoffs were just an attempt for Square Enix to make more money. They wern't thought through as well as some of the older FF numbered titles, and you can see this because there isn't as much side quests and the battle systems arn't as complex as other FF's. Don't get me wrong I enjoyed...

Well you're entitled to your opinion. All I know is the first time I saw the line I remember hating it because I thought it was completely unnecessary. It was just another arbitrary addition to an already arbitrary game to me.

The only name I can recall changing is Barret in FF7 to Mr. T And maybe Cloud's name to my name once.

Love this game. If I could change one thing it would be to make drawing magic from enemies easier. Sitting around drawing magic for hours on end gets old. I've tried a few times to restart this game and play through it but I never finish it for some reason...Guess nowadays there is just to many...

In my opinion, it is not irrelevant. It distracts from the FF universe and reaffirms that you are playing a game (a bad one at that) which is something you don't want in a game. A good game to me is where you can escape into a fantasy world for a little bit. I don't know maybe the 'curvy line'...
