I didn't dislike Vaan, nor did I like him. I just felt....numb :(
He's probably the blandest main character I've played as. Before the game was released I was expecting him to be a kind of Luke Skywalker character. He gets involved in something much bigger than him and grows and becomes...
Just re-watched my entire DBZ box-set. I usually just let a few episodes play when I'm chilling before bed then wake up hours later with the theme tune blasting away :D
I definitely need to watch something new though. I should scour this thread for some insight.
I agree. If the universe of VII is to be touched again I'd like to see a VII remake just because that damn teaser video got me ridiculously excited back during the ps3 launch and I'm still not over it :(
If it were to be remade I think the AC voice cast would be perfect too. In regards to the...
I find it a hard one to call. On the one hand I enjoyed going back to Spira and seeing how things had changed etc. and it was cool just to have another story taking place in that world as I really loved X. However, that was the problem for me. I loved X so much that it was hard not to see X-2 as...
Yeah feels as if fans of the older games are being left behind. Then again I got into Final Fantasy after playing VI and VII when I was about 8 so I'm not exactly 'old school' in that I wasn't around or FF I,II etc.
But yeah I guess different people like different qualities in their rpg's. I've...
Ahhh I see. You know I wondered that when I was playing once, but then I got two level ups one after another and just thought it was completely random! -_-
I enjoyed it. However, It doesn't seem to have any soul anymore for me :( The last Final Fantasy game I played that I loved was X. Since then it seems like square has moved towards innovation and graphical displays rather than strong storytelling and great characters. In my opinion the quality...
Pretty much the reason I bought a PSP and I wasn't disappointed! Only thing I disliked about this game really was the levelling system. It felt so random like I had no control over what level I'd end up as. Maybe I missed some explanation. I'm going to replay it soon anyway with new game+ :)
I loved Blitzball. It was a little mini rpg within the game and I spent alot of time levelling up my players so they could destroy all the other teams. It was ridiculously addictive, though I can see why some people would hate it...it can get repetitive.
I never thought of Sephiroth as toying with Cloud. I always assumed during their battle they were testing each other out because at one point Cloud smiles as if he's impressed or pleased with Sephiroth's strength. Anyway, I'd probably say that Sephiroth is the better swordsman plus he has more...
I loved Traverse Town, Halloween Town, Neverland and Hollow Bastion. I can still hear the Hollow Bastion music now! I liked Traverse town a lot because it was one of the few original worlds (not disney) and it felt like a traditional rpg rest village (even though heartless were always popping...
Cloud mainly for the aesthetic of jumping around with a ridiculously oversized sword. I like trying to re-enact advent children scenes -_- I still haven't finished duodecim on my psp yet...I should get back to it really :|
Absolutely loved it just as much as IV,VI, VII, VIII and IX. One of the strongest stories out of all the games in my opinion. I was close to tears in parts though I think the music definitely helped. Some of my favourite FF music is from X. However, I didn't like the linearity like most people...
Currently playing Lost Odyssey (after re-buying it) on xbox. FF XII and MGS 3 on ps2 and FF VII on my psp. I noticed on the US playstation store they have chrono cross for the psp. Why can't we have it in the UK :( I really want to play it.
I was ten when I played the game for the first time and I'd just finished playing VII so for some bizarre reason I called Garnet Tifa :| When I replay it now though I usually opt for Garnet.
The Cloister of Trials music will forever be encircling my brain! That aside I did actually enjoy the puzzles. Was satisfying to complete them and be rewarded with a new Aeon.
X is one of my 'once a year' games. It's part of a big collection. I also have a 'once a year' book collection so it takes up quite some time :) Though I've got all the ps1 classics on my psp now so I can play them on the move and don't have to be a recluse to get my fix XD
I'm a guy and as much as I loved the action sequences the ending and spring scenes moved me. I remember welling up when watching the ending and the music kicked in as Tidus put his arms around Yuna. Ahhh the power!
