Well, I loaded a save file in Ch 11 in which I'm about to ride the shuttle to Cocoon. I surveyed the map but don't see a cie'th stone portal. Do I have to back track if I want to complete missions before proceeding to Ch 12???

Looks like I'm the only one that needs help :-) I'm in the early stage of Chapter 12. How can I go back to Gran Pulse to start missions. I've completed up to mission 28.

I'm current at mission 14. I don't know how many days I've been at the steppe (it's been fun:-) Can I proceed with the story and come back to the steppe later to complete all the missions? Is there any problem with that (i.e., fighting chapter 11 bosses again to come back to the steppe)? I...

I reloaded a save file and reaccepted Mission 3. Ugallu was easy to beat.

I also see Mission 4 on the list. I didn't accept it, though. Can this be the reason why I don't see Ugallu?

I'm at Tsubaddran Highlands and Ugallu is nowhere to be found. I see the Mission 3 listed on the map but no red cross anywhere on the map. What's going on?
