Probably neither. My 2 year old budget gaming PC really isn't that far behind either hardware wise, and will be up there with a few choice upgrades. These days there are so few exclusive titles, that I personally don't really see the use for owning more than one system
Well, the reveal is today, so we will finally see whether this always online rumour is true or not. My best guess would be a "No", but people in the gaming industry do retarded shit all the time, so who knows... :P
Nothing wrong with crediting one's sources, it's the ethical thing to do. In fact, more people online should learn to be as meticulous about it as Ohri-Jin here.
I will definitely pick this up if it comes with some added extras like Final Fantasy VII did. I do wish they would bring it to Steam...
I'll go ahead and say the Mass Effect trilogy. Technically not one game I guess, but with you being able to take your save game without throughout the entire series, I will argue that it kinda plays like a single game :P For very much a blank slate kind of character, Shepard had a lot more...
There's really no reason not to release your game on as many platforms as possible, unless you are some Microsoft or Sony owned studio spitting out titles like Halo 342 or Uncharted: Drake's New Pool. Bring it on I say.
Dragon Age III: Inquisition
I was never quite as enarmoured with Dragon Age as I was with Mass Effect. Dragon Age: Origins had solid gameplay (on PC, being a mage on console was a nightmare) and character progression, but the visual design was incredibly bland and the storyline incredibly...
I just finished it, and I absolutely loved it. I played through the game with a low chaos level, but I am definitely considering going for another playthrough aiming for high. The game seems like it has pretty good replay value. The Knife of Dunwall DLC seems intrigueing, but I think I might...
I have been slaving away at Baudolino by Umberto Eco for months now. I love it, but I am in one of those periods where sitting down and picking up a book comes hard to me. I will hopefully finish it before 2014 at least :P
The launch trailer was really really creepy, and with Bethesda throwing their weight behind this, alongside Shinji Mikami's track record, I am definitely curious. If the game can capture the same feel and atmosphere of the trailer, I could see this rival Silent Hill 2 as my favourite video game...
This thread is a little old now I guess, but Final Fantasy VII was quite recently optimised and re-released for PC with achievements and a character booster if you don't want to do a lot of tedious levelling. It's a great way to (legally) play FF VII on the PC. Hopefully they will eventually do...

I fell over this article on PC Gamer and thought it might be of interest to some FF fans. It certainly seems very influenced by classic PS1 era FF (FF7 in particular) with...
The quality hasn't been the same since Sakaguchi jumped ship. That's the cold honest truth of it. Ever since he left, the main series has been experiencing an on going identity crisis with the new developers trying to put their own stamp on the franchise and ultimately creating something that...
Right now I just have my gaming PC which is hooked up to my TV and complimented beautifully by 2 Xbox 360 controllers. I used to own quite a bit more than that, but changing continents twice in 2 years, has culled the herd down to the bare essentials. I've got all I need in the PC though.
Did you play the first one? and if so, how does the second one compare to the first? Because The Witcher 1 was in my opinion neither complex or mature.
I have to admit that I am a serial non-completer. When I was younger, I would devour absolutely anything gaming related. No matter how mediocre it was, I would insist on getting my money's worth out of it. Now I am way more picky and if a game fails to pique my interest within the first couple...
Dishonored was 50% off on Steam this weekend, so I have been playing that these last couple of days in what little time homework has allowed me to spend gaming. The slightly cartoony, industrial era steampunk look of the game reminds me a little of a more grim version of Fable 3, which is...
I would agree to Dragonfarce and take the step further and say that I hate around 99,99% of all those stupid euro power metal bands (typically from Finland, Germany and Sweden it seems) with their awful keyboards and squeaky clean production that takes all aggression and purpose out of metal. To...
Slayer's Reign in Blood. It's such an intense and condensed dose of thrash metal and at just 28 minutes and most songs clocking in at less than 3 minutes, there's really no need (or desire!) to skip anything. Also most King Diamond albums as they are pretty much all concept albums telling a...
