I have played it thousands of times :holyshit:(not joking so don't say I am). I have a save game for every video of the game, uhh I have gotten every materia, beaten every weapon, and beaten the game hundreds of times..... I STILL ABSOLUTELY LOVE THE GAME! There is, to me, no better game in...

I've seen some videos on youtube where a guy had counter like 7 times w/ the Knights of the Round Materia... Litterally, this dude had just Cloud in his party at lvl 99 and weapon attacked twice and died... It was epic... Oh yea, he also had a mime on so that when he cast knights of the round...

It may just be a coincidence, or a joke. There could be a real reason behind it like if people see Baird and know Cid, they may relate the two and want the game... So there are any number of reasons this could be, we can only speculate the true motives of the designer....

Anyone have an ultimate materia combination they would like to share? I was always pretty simple and straightforward in my materia.... I never fully comprehended some of the more complex combos; like I never tried to have 3 counter materias paired with some form of magic and the magic is used...
