I feel you need to work on blending, a lot of your backgrounds are very plain. Perhaps you should try bigger sizes for your canvas. Another thing is the font, a lot of it doesn't mesh very well. Not all sigs need text. As for the backgrounds, try C4D's or try looking for stocks or tutorials on...
