If it was done correctly, I'd love one; otherwise, no. I don't think I could stand this game being butchered, because imo it's almost perfect (minus a few little things), and I don't want that image marred by something which is shiny and 'perfect' on the outside, but just.. ruins a perfect game.

A regular aeon defeating sin would not kill the summoner. If that was the case, Yuna would have died at the end when she summoned all the aeons to fight Yu Yevon. In fact, she wouldn't have even managed them all. Just the one would have done it.
