I was gearing up for some battles in Battle Square, and as I was carefully picking out materia, I came across my mastered Luck Plus. I thought about putting it in, but I'm not sure what the Luck stat does in the game. Can anyone offer an explanation?

Final Fantasy II for SNES was pretty damn hard. Anyone ever beat the Ancient Cave challange in Lufia II: Rise of the Sinistrals for SNES? It's said to be one of the hardest feats in gaming history...

I still have the SNES version of this game as well as the PS1 and GBA...and I can't wait to buy the DS version. One of my favorite games of all time.

I don't quite see the need to level up as with other FF games. The enemies get stronger as you get stronger, so I'm not quite sure why it's so important to increase your level. HOWEVER Having your GFs learn all of their abilities seems like a much better use of time. I've spent hours on...

I just got the ability to junction to Luck, but I don't notice any difference in my character. What does the "Luck" stat determine in FF8? :blink:

Squall get Ifrit and Diablos because of the strength bonuses and Mug Zell gets Quezacotl because... :) Shiva goes to Quistis / Selphie because... :)

I wish he would have taken Quistis. She's way hotter, and not so annoying.
