OK, I know you can equip abilities to characters through the Ability screen based on what items they have equipped at the time. But how do I USE these abilities? I get all kinds of cool abilities like "Steal Gil" and can't find them in the menus anywhere! (except to equip them...I can't find...

Pretty much from when I started playing the game, I knew Terra was the main character. They should make more FF games with a female main character... I'm developing an RPG in which ALL the playable characters are female.

I think 4 is about the perfect number. Chrono Trigger got really hard with only 3...as characters die, it ends up being a downward spiral sometimes. Also, sometimes I wouldn't get very many turns before the enemy/ies could attack again. I don't know about 5 though...it could be easier, or it...

I think a lot of people don't like the "charge time" on the Bushido/SwdTech, especially since the higher-level attacks don't seem to be very good anyway. So when I have Cyan, I usually just use Fang or Attack, which means I can only attack one enemy at a time with him, and I don't have much...

I don't think you can change your party mid-game. You can get a "class change", but it just upgrades each party member to the higher level of that class (Warrior -> Knight, White Mage -> White Wizard, etc.). You can't change a warrior into a mage, for instance.

I haven't been doing all of the extra stuff my first time through, but I would like to replay FF6 and get more stuff done. I found all the playable characters except the temporary ghost on the Phantom Train, I think. I didn't get all the espers or anything... I don't think I'll do everything...

I think the max was 50 in the NES version of FF1. At some point between 50 and what would be 51, your EXP goes to 999999, I think.

Graphics don't matter that much to me, although I thought FF1 for NES was rather bland graphically, probably because it's an NES game. The gameplay is the important aspect.

There are authorative pronunciations? I thought it was tie-dus. In FF6, I say Cyan like Syan (which is also how I say the colour cyan), but the kana suggest otherwise. I also rhyme Sabin with cabin, but my friend Dragon Goddess says it like sah-been, I think.
