I actually enjoyed using the Paradigm Shift system in this game i know it's somewhat deviated from traditional titles in the series but i thought it was compelling enough for it's own sake without high expectations.
I liked this installment quite a lot tbh i felt the pacing was fine and didn't really let up too much or stray away, Auron was my favourite character being the veteran man of few words but with a cool vibe about him, Blitzball was fun too.
Not sure if you would consider it creepy but the melody in the forgotten city post Aerith's death kinda touched me with a similar vibe but more sorrowful in that sense must just be me but i don't ever recall investing into her character that much the first time enough to care about it but if...
Honestly I'm not sure where she would fit in, I'm guessing she would be in Jenova's place in the story since it would be a terrible waste of a character to use her as a one and done boss fight.
Not bad well appreciated.
Yeah it's a gem for those of us who experienced it back in the late 90's and while most games generally just become nostalgia pieces this game just hits differently hell even i don't really know why but it does it must be the compilation of it's Style and OST not just...
Very dated absolutely but i mainly speak from being a guy who played this game back in 1997 so I'm incredibly fond of the experience i even went as far as clocking the Android version of the game, There's not much else i can say since at the very most i can consider FFVII the best Final Fantasy...
Now i will admit I've only covered the following whether completed or close enough to...
FFVI
FFVII(And DOC)
FFVIII
FFIX
FFX
FFX-2
FFXII
FFXIII
FFXIII-2
FFXIII-Lightning Returns
I disliked FFXII the most just felt a bit empty after awhile and never could bother to invest in the characters.
