I found ozma when I beated Hot&Cold and gave the friendly critters all they wanted... but I only knew about hades because i found it on the internet... Hades was easy for me... but ozma took me some time to beat

i've never played the snes verson... but I found the GBA version quite more difficult than the psx one... IDK if there is a difference... but it took me more time to beat it
