I remember my first attempt at beating FF7. It was on my brother's PS with his mem card. He took his PS to his gf's house and she accidentally formatted the card.
Second attempt. I was outside cosmo canyon in the car. The car got stuck to cosmo canyon (glitch) and I couldn't exit the...
I was in 5th grade when I first played FF6 (FF3) on SNES. So given I was 17 when I graduated in '02...12-5= 7...17-7 = 10... I was about 10 years old.
Sheesh. I can't believe that was 16 years ago!
...and it seems to work just fine. I'm testing different sites out of boredom, and so far this site gets an A+. The shoutbox works, which was a pleasant surprise. Most impotantly: the forums work! As you can see, I used the font feature, which is built into the message feature. Pretty cool...
I really enjoyed FF3. It got a bit easier once I decided to turn most of my crew into geomancers (always keep a white mage healer). Many say there was no storyline, but that is not true. Sure, it's not nearly as involving as FF6, but there is a storyline. Personally, I think it has the best...
Truthfully it was called Final Fantasy: U.S.A., and was actually released in the U.S. before it was released in Japan in an attempt to garner U.S. support for the RPG genre. Even though it wasn't officially titled "Final Fantasy: the dumbed down American version", I'm sure that's exactly what...
Sheesh. As much as I love FF7, and as many times as I've played it, I've not once bred any chocobo, nor have I raced any other than the time you actually HAVE to in the storyline.
Goes to show how great the game is. One could love playing it for years and still not do everything there is to...
I've played 'em all, and I personally prefer FF6 on the SNES. First off, it's the nostalgia factor. Secondly, no load times. Thirdly, no name-changes (such as SwordTech to Bushido). It is the original and it is the best.
Of course, I could be a bit nit-picky.
I remember Mystic Quest. It was actually a very fun game. Thing is, it truthfully pales in comparison to the "real" Final Fantasy's. I believe Mystic Quest was given the Final Fantasy name for the same reason that Seiken Densetsu was renamed Final Fantasy Adventure in the U.S. (sidenote...
Amen!
I wish I could resurrect my Warrior and Mage in WoW. I wish I could've played FF11 longer than the free month the game came with. But I also wish I could eat when I'm hungry, and I don't always achieve that. Pay to play is a cool concept, but like collecting, it's a concept well fit...
Lately I've been listening to the following songs a lot on my iPod:
- Cake and Sodomy - Marilyn Manson
- Elder's Dub - Groundation
- Basket Case - Green Day
- Straight Outta Compton - N.W.A.
- Take It All Away - Cake
- Zombie - The Cranberries
- Highway Star - Deep Purple
- War Pigs - Black...
I've wanted to create videogames my entire life. I was too young to think about it when I got my first videogame system: Intellivision. But by the time I got my NES, I was always talking about how cool it would be to create games. I would comment on how "whoever made this game could beat it...
Found this video while searching for the CGI FF6. Kinda funny; thought I'd share.
Yes, I want a :cookie2:.

I haven't yet beaten FF9. I never owned it before my PS1 broke down and I gave away my PS2. I actually tried playing it for the first time very recently on epsxe. I got to the part where Vivi is introduced, and as soon as I walked past some girls playing jump-rope, the game froze. Yesterday...
