What I do is I get in a battle with some of those monsters that summon Kum Kums. I kill one of them and keep killing the Kum Kums it summons (DK hits for 9999) and keep the cycle going... if it doesn't summon one turn just guard. Afterwards the battle usually pays out 16k EXP upwards.
I don't see why this game gets such high ratings: to me, the only selling point seems to be that it's Mario.
Could you imagine it getting even half as good a reception if it were Rayman Galaxy or something?
I'm very nearly at the end of this game now, I just need to level grind a bit, find someone who will add my friend code, and beat the secret boss.
Before I start, on the subject of level grinding, it's a lot easier here than in some other Final Fantasy games. I've found some dungeons seem to...
I didn't find it that hard, but I can see where you're coming from. That's probably why they never released it in the US and Europe and why they dumb down the other ones.
I have a bad feeling about XIII. And not just because it's an unlucky number. On the trailers, it doesn't look right to me. It doesn't look Final Fantasy.

It can be devilishly difficult sometimes, so is probably not for inexperienced FF gamers.
I'd say this game is a bargain and a real gem, and...
Just a question... if FFX-2 is included, why not FFXI? Like it or not, it is a numbered Final Fantasy.
My favourite is FFVI because it is simply the best :P bit disappointed it doesn't have more votes though.
There are a few videos up on YouTube of the remake... here is the White Dragon in Lunar Subterrane:

I don't know if this has been posted before... but the video was only up on the 3rd.
I stayed with Thief, because he does a lot of damage if you get 2 Main Gauches.
Black Mage to do some nice backup damage and hit elemental weaknesses,
Scholar, to find out weaknesses and cast spells,
and White Mage for obvious reasons.
I think the first boss once you get off the Floating...
Kefka was also the best of the best in FFVI; while he was seen to be taking orders from Leo (before he poisoned the river), he managed to kill him with no effort whatsoever. It's probably not worth mentioning, but he killed the emperor as well (an old man, yes).
He did have the power to...
