Which city/area should I choose? This game is completely different from anything I've tried yet.

Hey I have a mic/vent can someone mentor me on this game? I was in the starting area for the elves and that was an epic fail. It wouldn't let me leave the zone! What are the best classes to play at this time and server? Thanks
