there's something wrong with me, got between 300-500 with the dead bones in nabreus when i was leveling. i remember wanting to get to 500 but i think i gave up somewhere in the middle.
i went a little crazy with the leveling in this game because i always make the mistake of leveling the...
i do agree as well that they should've stuck with the classics like shiva, leviathon, etc. naming a stupid air-battleship after them isn't a fair trade
you're supposed to get some berries near the entrance to the sandsea, right by one of the save crystals although it is possible to beat the avion without them as i did when i played. being higher than level 16 would probably help and probably just be an all around good idea in general
they're so useless. i only use them out of boredom if i've been leveling for awhile, i'll be like "what the hell, i'll use an esper," that's about it. give me the old appear and strike over this any day

i'm at the same part of the game (although not all the espers) and for awhile i thought i was having the same problem, even made a post about it, then all of a sudden it was raining. i had teleported to jahara and was en route to the caverns when it turned to rain.
yo, i'm having that problem where it's late in the game and perpetually dry and i haven't completed the "patient in the desert" side quest. apparently i need the rains to do part of it. is there another way in there?
Gameplay wise this game has met my expectations but where it lacks is the story and cutscenes. To be honest, I don't even really know what's going on with the story, the cutscenes are so long and drawn out that they lose my attention. Something about nethicite and manufated nethicite, dr. cid...
There's areas in the waterway that aren't visible on you map until you find the candle, that's why it seems like you cant get to the southwest area, just keep looking and you'll find it, i had the same problem.
