I don't understand why things like the cheats and auto-battles make it into the remasters, I love re-playing the games on modern systems since it saves digging out old games consoles, however I don't want infante gil, all spells unlocked etc, I want to play the game as it was.
I still prefer to play the originals of games, because I feel the graphics and sounds are part of the feel of the game.
I am a person who dislikes the PSX version of VI, mostly because it runs so damn slow. (The FMV is a bit annoying too) rather than minor changes to the design.
The GBA...
The ps3 can play anthology even if you buy the new model as its a ps1 game. Only ps2 game legacy support was removed. PS1 games were always played through a software emulator included in the ps3 operating system so it will always be able to play ps1 games.
As for should you open it, personally...
The advance version retains the line, but it's now "he'd kill his best friend for a nickel" and "son of submariner" has become "son of a sandworm" They also changed the scene with Celes' imprisonment. I don't recall any swearing in either the SNES or GBA English release.

I think that Odin is like any other summon tbh, each have thier own benefits and costs.

its actually much more complex than that, having developed basic RPG type games myself in my space time. Each map is split into areas, each area has a list of possible monster groups attached to it. Every time the character makes a step, the computer randomly picks a number, if the result of...
As I said in the FF7 Remake thread, I'd not mind a remake with new graphics provided that nothing else was changed. The remake of ff6 on the PSX was dire, it ran slowly, had unneeded extra FMV and was occasionally buggy. If they remade this game, it would have to be a 100% faithful reproduction...
Well I have very little to add, since my reasoning to love this game has already been answered 100 times over in this thread, I agree with most the people who wrote positive posts about this game, while the story is occasionally corny the game is a joy to play and like many classic SNES games I...
