What exactly are Knots of Rust used for besides keeping you from rare items in chests? I mean why does the Clan shop sell them once you reach the ---> Possible Spoiler--->rank?
1)Go back, kill the 1st Demon Wall (If you can't you should maybe try leveling on Urutan-Yensa at least until you find an Urutan Exile),
2)Press the jewel behind where he was,
3)Save your game,
4)Go down the steps the jewel opened up,
5)Follow the path to a secret part of the main room...
It happened to me (Yes, the exact same thing), but I stupidly used Brasso (Brass Cleaner) on it, then it somehow worked. What i'm trying to say is, give it a real good clean. And if you've a Slimline PS2, try cleaning the laser, but as you probably know you have to be extra careful.
Is that game worth getting? I see the graphics are awesome, but has it got a descent storyline?
Anyways to get back on topic, I'm currently retrying FFX, and i've started playing The Legend of Zelda - The Phantom Hourglass.
FFXII had the worst Malboros I think, Cassie, Vivian, Wild Malboro and Carrot anyway, unless you have hastega, you risk being hit by "Putrid Breath" which inflicts next to all negative status effects in the game, unless you have Esunaga, Cleanse and handkerchiefs, you're toast.
This game was gold, the battle system was different but IMO superior to all other games in the Final Fantasy series, the graphics were also something to impress even Xbox 360 players. Also the epic storyline kept me playing for hours at a time.
