VI gets my vote. The story was amazing with excellent character development. I almost shed a tear when Also Kefka was the greatest villain in any game I have played. Ever. Only three hours into the game I hated him with a passion after the famous river poisoning scene. Square took a simple evil...
Yes, the date on my system is correct, and every other save comes up with the right time and date that I saved it. No internet changes, so that cant really be affecting it.
I have only played the GBA version, but from what I have heard about the others I would say it is the best. The Dragons Den and Soul Shrine (Extra Dungeons) Have caused me to spend 50 Hours and counting on the game having fun, leveling to 99, and stealing unlimited Ragnorak's / Ultimaweapons...
Hey everyone. I was just playing XIII and I was looking through my saves to find that one of them was dated 4/10 2005. I dont know why this happened, but I think something that had to do with it was the fact that I had so many save files, that at a point it started overwriting my first few...
Alright thanks everyone! I was wondering not because I wanted to finish it up quickly, but because I wanted to know how much more story was in this awesome game.
Not sure if this is the right section but I had a question on FFVI. What is approximately the halfway point of the game? I just finished the Floating Continent and was wondering if that starts the second half of the game. Makes sense and thats what I have heard, but the walkthrough I was...
I used to really like them and would get every new version, but recently Nintendo has just been remaking the old games. After a while, the gameplay gets to be a bit boring. It also seems that Nintendo isnt doing anything to improve the mechanics. I still cant walk in eight directions?
How many times have you played your favorite FF game, and how many hours was your longest play-through on an FF game?
I have yet to replay any of the FF games (only been playing for about a year, and wanted to play a lot of them before i went back to replay) And the longest play-through was on...
Just got the game yesterday and I absolutely love it. Im about 2 1/2 hours in finishing Locke's scenario. (I still have yet to do the other two) The characters are great, I like what plot there is so far, and a lot of things are unanswered and mysterious in the beginning which keeps me playing.
Just wondering what everyone thought about sprite games vs 3D games. This is more leaning to FFIII and FFIV and their DS remakes because they have both graphical versions. This has nothing to do with the game or the story, simply the art style. In my opinion, I tend to lean toward the sprite...
Even though I never heard the song in-game because I never really finished it, my favorite from IX is Vamo' alla Flamenco.

After looking it up I found it's the music you hear when playing Chocobo Hot and Cold.
I'm gonna have to go with Edward from FFIV. The fact that he comes with an ability called "Hide" just proves that he is the strongest character. It doesnt get much more useful than him.
But seriously, I am going to have to go with Squall for damage/strength.
Wait what? How does Cloud not...
I have always like the Iced based spells like Blizzaga. Thundara comes in a closes second. I would have haste up there but correct me if I'm wrong you cant cast it on your whole party at once. That really annoys me when its in a game like IV and it takes 5 turns to get everyone hasted...
