    I havent got fire 2 yet, its still fire level 2 but it says ive used it 20 times. Do you know roughly how much it takes to level up magic? Ah its ok i actually answered the question for myself, apparently you have to use it 99 times before it levels up Thanks for help anyways :)

    I recently started playing final fantasy 2 and noticed in the magic screen it shows magic like this for example: fire 1-12 Meaning its level 1 and ive used it 12 times im guessing? What i was wondering is how do you actually increase the level of your magic? Is it simply just through using it...

    Magic

    I ended up just gritting my teeth and buying all the magic anyways although most of the magic throughout the game i didnt use often. I only really used the cure and life magic, occasionally ice, fire, bolt. But not much more than that. Well, apart from the last battle where i used haste.

    I too like warriors the best, i always choose strength over magic or defence, although i dont think i could cope without a white mage so that would definately have to be my second favourite

    I enjoyed playing the game and it was interesting to see where the series began, having not played anything older than final fantasy VI before. The only negative coments id have to say are that the magic was very expensive near the end, but i suppose like all games if thats something you want...

    I believe the game is worth buying if you are a serious final fantasy fan because it'll be good to see where the game started, but some part of it i am finding rather tedious i have to admit

    In final fantasy I the magic is starting to become very expensive, at the moment im in Gaia, and it's 60,000 each for three white and three black magics, and its also 45,000 each for two pieces of black and white magic giving a total of 540,000, which as you can imagine is taking me a long time...
