well duh the graphics were bad at this time in gamming. i heard it was a bad game but i found fine. i liked FFl better then FFll. but i thought it was a good game.
It wasn't as bad as what I had heard, but I still prefered Final Fantasy I over it. I didn't expect much from it anyway because I'm not a fan of Final Fantasy games for handhelds, but I did have fun playing it and thats all that really mattered. It was also a little annoying in terms of where to go, but it was fine in the end and I had no quarrel with it.
I got the FF1/FF2 combined disk for the PS1 so I learned that they were both dissapointments at the same time. Good at that time, but overall I have one thing to say about them.
its the same thing for me as shadow and sephiroth said earlier I heard it was a bad game but when I played it I was a bit confused but I still liked it but I don't know if FFI is was better then the second one. they were both kinda good considering that they were created a while ago
FF1 turned me straight off. Sure, it was the first FF title, but I do like a little bit of substance. FFII was very hard if you had no idea what you were doing right at the beginning, but it has potential.
Oh, and do not post you do not like the game without giving a decent explanation as to why.
This game is bad, the no levelling up system really puts me off playing it, it doesnt give you that sense of acheivment other Final Fantasy games do, the gameplay itself was good sure but FFII didnt do anything good for me.
i think that it was awsome and one day they should make a remake of it to improve the bad graphics. i loved the storyline and the fact that i could eat a sandwich and play the game at the same time
FF2 i have so much to say about that game. easily my least favorite ff game except for tactics. but i still enjoyed it the storyline was one of the best out there but that doesnt make it a good game. I didnt find it to terribly hard to beat i beat it in a couple days but that was cause i beat the crap out of my own characters which is really the only way to level up in that game. if i had played it straight and not attacked myself which i tried i never would have got anywhere. and i mean anywhere. but it wasnt that bad except for leveling up was no fun at all, but it went quicker than most ff leveling if you just attacked yourself. and the last boss was crazy easy with blood swords. in fact i dont think i could have beaten him without blood swords he had a lot of hp but with blood swords i beat him in 3 rounds.
However if i hadnt figured out to beat up on my characters and use the blood swords against really strong bosses i would never have beaten it. also i didnt really bother with magic at all except for cure way to hard to level up yout magic that i hated the most about the game i would have like the system if magic levels were more like ff1 and 3 but stats were raised by masterey. even more so than ur physical stats magic levels were crazy hard to raise.
yet i managed to cruise through the game in a few days although the final dungeon took me 4 hours and i couldnt save unless i left and the i would have to have started all over again there was something like 14 levels to it including the cave you have to go through just to get to the actuall final dungeon. And each level had crazy hard monsters i think the final dungeon was the only time i actually got any serious leveling done except for beating the crap out of my characters. That and Mysdia tower i raised my stats a little.
Graphics don't really don't matter to me in a game, as long as I can see my characters and what they are doing. I loved the story of FF2, but I really didn't care for the mastery system. All in all though, I did really enjoy it.
FFII was a pretty good game imo.
It wasnt as good as it could have been, and i really hated the character advencement sytem but apart from that its a pretty solid game.
good storyline, good gameplay, bad graphics are to be expected due to its age.
I still havent gotten around to completing the final boss yet though
I thought it was fairly good. I didn't really like the characters, though. Just too. . . stereotypical. I hated Guy. The fact that he never said anything was somehow irritating. Oh well. I also prefer the usual leveling system, but it was only the second one, so I suppose they were still experimenting. All in all, I preferred FFI.
