The Nine Worlds: RP

OOC: Sorry for the short post T-T

As Aria ran towards Koodori he's soul felt relieved. He would not know what to do if he didn't find her, or even worse if she was hurt. As she cleared her throat and started to sing several notes started to float around. Koodori wasn't the least surprised about this as he had powers aswell and he was happy his sister has them. As Aria stopped singing and was surprised about her own power, Koodori himself hesitated to say anything about it when questions arose about them.

As he felt the need to tell them his theory another person arrived who seemed to go by the name of Ash. He was pleased to see this person as the person somehow radiated some kind aura.

As the plan was revealed to them all about Crimson Wolf or Ash excorting them all out of this place he was relieved that he had found Aria as he would be heartbroken if he had arrived here and Aria was nowhere to be found.

Staying quite quiet for the time being he stood right next to Aria as if he was glued to her very body. He kept his hands however close to his waste as his chakrams was tied by a rope around his body.

OOC: Girl/woman Necron. Ash is a woman. Maybe i should change it to Ashe with an e? Wait, are you talking about my Einherjar (who is an archer) or The Archer played by Cardiac?

Secondly, can i have a roll call as to who is here? I'm a bit lost.

"Myself or Ash here will escort you all safely out of the city, out of harm's way."

As much as she wanted to stay and fight, Ashe knew it was for the greater good should Lord Wolf fight instead. To emphasise her thoughts, she sensed a sharp spike in energy from where her master was before. She could tell it was a Heaven Spike. Things were becoming more heavy and intense.

Lord Wolf. I will escort these children from the city. Please go and assist my master and her sister against these Pure Ones.

Ashe cast another glance at the children she was to protect. Indeed it was a rag tag group as the armoured woman had said. Regardless of how adept they are in combat by human standards, this was going to be tough. Sheathing her Yumi bow and drawing out her repeater crossbow, Ashe glanced out the streets before turning back to her charges.

Well. I assume some of you know some form of shortcuts in the city? Let's hear them then.

~~~~~
The white light punched through the Pure One's shoulder, but
she showed no signs of slowing down nor backing off. Instead, Brunhilde watch her begin rapid regeneration of the wound, muscles, flesh and blood vessels moving and spreading across the hole. In seconds, it was healed as if she had not even been hit.
Hm...impressive.
"The souls of the humans are crying out? Who cares about the humans? Just... detach yourself... It will make your life so much easier. It will make your godhood so much more pleasurable."
Unlike Anastasia, Brunhilde had no habits to speak of. All she did was stand and watch with her eyes as she continued to prattle on. Like she said to herself earlier, no more taunting banter exchange. It was never her forte and if she continued, Brunhilde was more likely to make a fool of herself than her opponent.
"We were created above the others, Brunhilde Valkyrie. Forget about humans...And worry about yourself instead."
A bolt of energy surged from Anastasia's hand and shot straight at Brunhilde's face. Even with her reflexes, dodging it was impossible. Duravel was in the perfect position in any case and moments before the impact, was raised into the path of the energy and took it straight on. Smoke billowed thickly from where Brunhilde stood as the energy connected with the blade. The wind picked up the grey dust and moved it further down, away from the battlefield. In the middle, Brunhilde still stood. It was just in the nick of time when she raised Duravel into a defensive shield position and porjected her energy into the sword, forming a barrier of sort. Of course, with such short time, it did not curve across her entirely and there was signs of slight scuffs on the Valkyrie's armour and her gauntlet. A bit of dust smeared across her pale face.
Impressive indeed...
This time, it was Brunhilde's turn to gather energy. Duravel began to glow white before being raised overhead. Ever so slowly, it rotated, gaining speed before it was a complete blur. Even along her legs, a ghostly white glow was emitted.
Kubichi!
Boosted with her energy, Brunhilde literally disappeared, leaving an aftershadow, reappearing up close and low near Anastasia. Duravel continued to spin for that second before it curved in an overhead slash. The blade was a blur and its power multiplied. In the instant the first one was finished, seven other swings followed, all swung in the aftershadow of her first strike.
(OOC: If you're con fused by my wording, the eye see one swing, but that is an aftershadow. When the eye sees the first swing finishes, 8 swings have been swung, projecting eight slicing winds that project a meter from the blade.)
ARIA
"Crimson...do you know how she was able to do that?"
Aria was still reveling in this new found... ability as she turned and gazed wide eyed at her brother. She took little notice of the Einherjar, her bronze eyes remained fixed upon her brother, fingers still lightly strumming the harp strings more for comfort than anything.
"I'm glad the introductions are over. Well, I certainly hope this ragtag bunch are up to the task, these are Pure ones we are dealing with afterall."
Aria's head shot round, eyes glowering as they fixed upon this strange new woman. She had no time to form a retort as yet another stranger appeared.
"You guys are getting out of here, right? If so, I want to tag along. I need to get out of here, before I get killed by someone."
"All right! Let's calm down! You say you'll help us out? How to you intend to do that?"
Aria was starting to get very confused. With a gentle sigh, she plopped down onto the floor beside her brother and watched the group carefully.
The Wolf spoke again, and Aria found herself soothed by his words. She watched him the most for several moments before breaking her eyes away from him and averting them once more to the harp now resting in her lap, fingers barely stroking the strings. The strong looking woman, Einherjar, was speaking again and Aria let out a small sigh as silence once again fell
It seemed everyone had finished talking, so Aria looked up at the group once more. "But what about the others? There has to be other survivors... I can't get out of here knowing there are others in possible worse positions than we are. How are they going to get out?"
-----------------------------------------------------------------
TAYLANA
The elemental giggled as the Valkyrie became airbourne. "Oh how truly divine, my battle angel. You might just be the sugary sweet thing to finish off my meal."
Another giggle reverberated around the area as Taylana licked her bloodstained lips. "I wonder how you taste..." she cocked an eyebrow and held her hands out and up above her head. The flames that swirled beneath her feet rushed up and over her to defend her from the Valkyrie's attack, blasting outwards in flaming whips towards her adversary.
Her gloves began to glow with a white aura as she herself gave off an almost incandescent shine. "All elements are mine to control. Water, Fire, Air... even your precious light, Divinity. You cannot hope to over come my power alone. Today I'll feast upon your pure blood, oh pretty one!"
---------------------------------------------------------------------
SAUL
Brown tousled hair rippled out behind the lithe warrior as he charged down the streets, leaping over rubble and outrunning his pursuers. The claws covering his hands glinted in the dismal light overhead as thunder roiled in the distance. Everywhere lay death and destruction. He could never outrun the horrors he had seen today... but he had to find survivors. There had to be others like him...
He spotted a group, and without thinking as usually was the case with Saul, he made a mad dash forwards, increased speed propelling him forwards. There were several women, but his eyes were fixed upon the blonde haired boy. "Leave the girls alone, you monster!" he yelled, aiming an overhand swipe at the boy only to find himself blocked.
Eyes widening slightly, he took a step back, slightly abashed. "Ah... erm... sorry about that." Several small cuts ran the length of his chest, shredding his shirt. Blood splattered his face (not his own) and there was a small trickle of blood from a split lip. "I was still in the moment I guess..."
(It was Hope's idea for Saul to go to attack Koodori, for the dancer to block with his chakram. Hence that at the end of the second paragraph. I can edit it if you wish, Hope. :gasp:)
"Leave the girls alone, you monster!"
"Aria! Stay back!"
Koodori took a whole 180 turn as his feet just spun by the very sound of the attacking man. As he turned he could see the man throwing and overhead slash at him and as him spinning moved his chakrams to the front of him he ripped them from the rope and blocked the slash.
As the guy took a step back and apologised for his actions and somewhat explained them Koodori looked at him with a wonderous look. He could not seem to get angry on the person that tried to attack him and gave him a welcoming smile.
"Well just don't attack me again will you. You are already hurt so I don't want too make any more cuts on your body."
He picked up his rope again and connected the ripped ends to place his chakrams around his waist again. As the woman named Ashe wanted to hear of shortcuts, Koodori felt at a loss. He had never really taken any shortcuts through the city and the times he have done it was not something for him to remember.
As he was getting there, he heard someone shout behind him, and turned his head quickly to see what it was, then turned back, as it was only one person, and the situation looked under control.
"All right! Let's calm down! You say you'll help us out? How to you intend to do that?"
"I am sorry if I seem rushed, I just almost got killed inside my own house. I am a dangerous man with this bow and can work well in any size groups."
Kiko was trying to remain calm, but he couldn't stop thinking about what just happened. He knew that if he was going to get out of here without any further issues, then he was going to need to be in a relaxed mood and not get violent with anyone. He thought these people could help him, so he was going to follow that thought until he couldn't be helped anymore.
Ellie:
"Oh how truly divine, my battle angel. You might just be the sugary sweet thing to finish off my meal. I wonder how you taste..."
Ellie flew above and below the whips, dodging each and every one of Taylana's Fire attacks.
"All elements are mine to control. Water, Fire, Air... even your precious light, Divinity. You cannot hope to over come my power alone. Today I'll feast upon your pure blood, oh pretty one!"
"You talk too much, 'pretty one,'" Ellie said, mocking her tone and mannerisms, Taylana was having fun, and this worried Ellie, she might actually be more powerful, or maybe she was just a cocky little bitch.
"Enough banter, let's just get this over with..." Ellie flew upwards into the sky far above Taylana. This was followed by Ellie flying at high speeds, (roughly 55 MPH) towards the Elemental, swerving from side to side to avoid any magical projectile attacks. Ellie planned on knocking her out of the Tornado and fighting back on ground level.
Kathrina:
Kat looked at another person who out of nowhere came and attack the Dancer, only to be blocked by his chakrams. "Great, a crazy guy..." Kathrina thought. Suddenly, another figured appeared, taller and clad in medieval looking armor.
Lord Wolf, it is an honour to be in your presence. Valkyrie Brunhilde has asked me to assist in any humans that are fleeing. May i be of any assistance?
Kat looked at the female when she said something about Valkyries, she has heard of the mithos time and time again, but never before has she thought they were real. After the discussion between the Warrior and Crimson Wolf, she asked the group
Well. I assume some of you know some form of shortcuts in the city? Let's hear them then.
Kat responded "This is Manhattan, an Island, if anything, these Pure Ones that you speak of may have destroyed all the bridges....wait..." She began to think, that although the bridges maybe destroyed, the underground tunnels connecting Manhattan to adjacent New Jersey may still be there.
"The Holland Tunnel, I think it maybe our way out of here."
Anasstasia moved faster than the eye could see with a gentle sigh and a soft, barely visible smile, not even a hair parting as she dodged almost all the strikes, before appearing almost a metre away from Brunhilde, flicking her hair back from her fringe with a little chuckle, before drawing her sword again and stepping back twice more. A blade had caught her on her left arm, but she wasn't using that, so didn't even direct healing energies towards it, letting it drip blood and liquid to the tarmac.
Spinning the sword, she let it become a viscuous slime that wrapped itself around her arm and travelled into her body with an incredible speed. Anastasia let out a low moan as she opened her eyes, now tinted violet, and she raised her right hand into the air without moving her gaze from Brunhilde.
Samuel looked at Aria concernedly, but he was shocked as the tall boy attacked her brother, only to be blocked.
"What the hell?!" Samuel pointed his knife at the man, despite his apologies. He was slow to trust this newcomer.
Five spinning hexagaons formed in the air as Anastasia created them from lingering strands of life in the air, now corrupted by dark magic. This woman was fast. She couldn't take another blow like that or dodge it, so this blow would have to hit home. And it would. There were simply too many to dodge. It was worth the high energy loss and then some, and would drive the Valkyrie away.
The hexagons spun blindingly fast, leaving purple light seared onto her retinas with bright bursts of hexagonal glare. Anastasia's hair whipped around her head as she smiled seductively, sending three bursts of darkness from each hexagon, towards the upper parts of Brunhilde's body.
Raym noted the slight bit of in fighting between the heroes and knew now was the time to make his move, peering over the other side of the building he spotted a bunch of civilians all huddled into a corner.
"Perfecct....timee for a bit of funnn!" His eyes began to glow fiercely as he raised his shadow staff into the air, his staff beginning to glow green.
"It's those heroes fault....yes those around the corner...they are going to kill you if you dont stop them...go on do it, they know how to escape, Do It, Do it NOW!" His voice echoed inside the heads of the civilians as the gripped tightly to there heads in pain...suddenly they picked up whatever weapon they could find and began to dash around the corner towards to heroes.
"Noowww my servant...now iss the time!" Raym ushered to his Talon.
"Yes my lord, it shall be done" The Talon replied as he skillfully lept from the building still cloaked in shadows, and landed in a dark corner behind the heroes drawing his knife covered in a strange blue liquid and waited for the opportunity to strike.
=================================================================
Shogun
"Well come on, lets make our minds up alr.....what the hell?" Shogun remarked as she suddenly noticed an armed mob come charging around the corner, she quickly took aim at the lead member of the armed mob with her SA80, flicking the saftey off and lightly resting her finger against the trigger...
"STAND DOWN...STAND DOWN NOW!" She yelled at the mob that were continuing to advance on the party..
ARIA
Aria jumped slightly as the Warrior burst in on the happy little get together, attacking her brother. She needn't have worried. With all the grace the dancer housed, blocking the attack was like a fluid motion as she watched. The situation was quickly diffused.
"I am sorry if I seem rushed, I just almost got killed inside my own house. I am a dangerous man with this bow and can work well in any size groups."
Aria gave the bowman a curious look and tilted her head to one side as she rose from her spot on the ground, toying with the simple dagger she held for close-combat protection.
Then the woman spoke. Aria turned to her, thankful that at least one of them knew of a way out. The girl gave the woman a gentle smile before looking to the boy with the knife who still didn't seem ready to trust the new boy. It was all happening so fast!
"STAND DOWN... STAND DOWN NOW!"
Aria leapt from her skin as the woman in the suit yelled at an oncoming mob. Her instincts drove her to hide behind Koodori. "What's going on?"
--------------------------------------------------------
SAUL
"Well just don't attack me again will you. You are already hurt so I don't want too make any more cuts on your body."
Saul gave the blonde boy a lop sided grin. "It'd be interesting to see you try."
The warrior paid no attention to the girls at that point, for he was pretty sure that the males posed more a possible threat than they did.
"What the hell?!"
Saul turned to find a knife being pointed at him. With a roll of his eyes, Saul removed the claw covering his right hand and flexed it slightly. "I'd put that down, small fry, or someone is going to get hurt..." His right fist arced outwards, aiming a sharp and swift, moderately powerful blow to the side of the boy's face. Anger flashed briefly within Saul's eyes and he swiftly replaced the claw, glaring at the boy. "...and I won't be so gentle next time, you hear?"
The weapon was replaced just as the masked woman let out a warning shout. The mob thundered around the corner and the woman's weapon was already targetted. "All right... you wanna fight?" He looked over the mob with a glint in his eyes. Something wasn't right here. Surely civilians would be running for cover by now... so why were they attacking this small group of misfit survivors?
"Bring it!"
---------------------------------------------------------------
TAYLANA
"You talk too much, 'pretty one. Enough banter, let's just get this over with..."
The counterattack was swift, swiping Taylana deftly from the top of her towering inferno. The tornado of fire dispersed upon the Elemental's focus being dragged from the spell and she landed softly on her feet, after managing to right herself, on the concentrate of the city.
"Ohhhhh, my beautiful warrior," she chuckled, brushing off her dress as though it was nothing. The blood running from the cut across her forehead spoke differently, however. "Well, now... isn't that something? Seems you drew first blood..." Taylana's head tilted to the side as teeth caught her bottom lip thoughtfully. "It's not every day someone manages that, Divinity."
Taylana knew that she needed to get serious, but in doing so, the strain on her will would increase. However... if she kept toying with the Valkyrie, she would tire eventually anyway and that would give the Battle Maiden the upper hand. She had to finish this... and quick.
"Play time's over..."
The incandescent light throbbed around her again, increasing to almost blinding point. Shadows furled out from beneath her feet, coiling like snakes up and around Taylana's body until she appeared to be nothing more than a dark mass amongst the shining light. A brief flicker of what appeared to be a sort of wing and the dark and light erupted out all at once, arcing upwards and then down at the Valkyrie. The Earth rumbled beneath her feet, concrete cracking and moaning as crevices gaped here and there.
Taylana's concentration was at fever pitch. It was nothing for her to command one element at a time. But three at once pushed her. She did ponder the idea of tossing in a fourth, but knew it would wipe her out instantly. She could only hope the use of light and dark would throw the valkyrie off enough to gain the upper hand...
KOODORI
"And hitting him really helps does it?"
Koodori's calm voice seemed to mock the actions of Saul as he thought it was foolish of him to go straight into a fist fight with someone after the few minutes he spent on a assault on Koodori. He sighed and put his attention more onto Aria as he was always watching over her.
"STAND DOWN, STAND DOWN NOW!"
Koodori reacted to the voice and noticed Aria had posistioned herself behind him.
"What's going on?"
As Aria spoke to Koodori he put his left hand back and onto Aria's hand as if it was a defense mechanism. He tilted his head to the side and looked at Aria with his left eye.
"I have no idea Aria, but stay behind me okey?"
---
CRYSTAL
"Theese heels are killing me!"
Walking about in the chaos that was she sighed several times in a row as she was tired of running for her life and her feet was not in good condition. She knew if she took of her heels they would probaply get cuts and a blister on a heel seemed much more pleasurable then anything else. She walked and walked until she saw a group of people who was standing there conversing with eatchother. Suddenly a voiced pierced through her mind.
"STAND DOWN, STAND DOWN NOW!"
Crystal started to run despite the pain she was suffering becouse of her shoes and walked up behind someone who had been hit in the face by the handsome darkhaired guy. Before even saying a word she noticed the mob infront of them and her eyes narrowed alittle bit, her fingers twitching with electricity.
"Okey hun's. Sorry for interupting this lovely tense get together, but why are thoose people there approaching us?"
She then sighed another time before walking into the middle of the group.
"Can't a beautiful woman like me get a break atleast once a week, maybe twice a week?"
"Well. I assume some of you know some form of shortcuts in the city? Let's hear them then."
After Crimson Wolf heard Ash say this, before he replied, one of them spoke of Holland Tunnel being a way out.
He then answered Ash's question. "Holland Tunnel will do, get them to there, they should be able to get to safety from there, it isn't very far off."
Something Aria had said; "But what about the others? There has to be other survivors... I can't get out of here knowing there are others in possible worse positions than we are. How are they going to get out?", he assured that more people would continue to be found then taken to a safe place outside of the city.
"Don't worry, I will be keeping an eye out for more people that are still alive, and get them to a safe area outside of the city, not about to let there be any necessary deaths, lives that could have been saved, some people have just not been so fortunate as to avoid getting into a situation in which death is inevitable, but this group should be an exception, someone capable of protecting you from this chaos can get you all safely out of the city.
As for myself, I should meet with Ash's master, and her sister and assist them in the fight against the Pure Ones, it will make the city less dangerous as more of them have been dealt with, then it will make it easier for people to survive, that should make things a little less chaotic within the city."
(OOC: Sorry for the short post, but I have to make a post, this is just reeling one of so I don't fall behind any further...)
Samuel
Samuel had been sent sprawling to the ground by the force of Saul's punch, and gasped for breath as he wiped blood from his mouth, where the skin had broken and a thin line of blood was now dripping from his mouth and trickling onto the path. He jumped up quickly, forgetting he had dropped his dagger, and looked up at Saul.
"Are you out of your mind?!" he yelled, picking up his dagger and failing to notice that his chest was emitting an unusual green glow. It was faint and only really visible if you really looked for it and knew it was there, but it was definitely glowing. "This isn't the time for you to go around punching people in the face! If we don't get out of the place, those people are gonna kill us! Is that-"
"STAND DOWN, STAND DOWN NOW!"
As the woman who looked like she was from special corps yelled out, Samuel whirled around, again failing to notice an important development: someone had joined their midst once again, and a pack of men and women were rapidly approaching. They looked blank. Emotionless. As though something important had ceased.
The woman was obviously cautious; she had her hands on her gun and she seemed perfectly ready and willing to fire at a moments notice, at the slightest hint that these people's intents were harmful.
Quickly scanning around, Samuel concluded that everyone except the brother and sister seemed perfectly capable of fighting. The two siblings looked thin and weak, and even though the boy seemd good with his chakrams, Samuel wondered if he had any real combat experience, like Samuel had.
Bending down and picking up his knife, Samuel's instinct registered what his mind did not; a green symbol, with purple shading around the edges. It was inticrate, luminescent and seemed to Samuel to be... he couldn't put it into words.
And as quickly as the symbol had appeared it was gone. Its shape and size were lost to Samuel, and he thought no more on it as the civilians approached. Something very bad was happening here. He could tell.
"What do you want, my beloved Mystery, always about where I am...hmhmhm..." Spoke the sinister god of chaos, Lloyed.
"You know I can't allow you to get away without punishment for killing an innocent mortal neutral." Arukab, ready for combat, spoke with a strong hatred and resentment.
"But we cannot all obey the rules, or there would be no distinction of correct and incorrect. Would you know the true meaning of right if there was no wrong?" It was really clear that Lloyed was messing with Arukab.
"Anyone can tell right from wrong so long as they have a true consciousness and can process emotions. Don't toy with me."
"Aw, but I love playing with my food."
"Silence!" Arukab shouted as he ran towards Lloyed, at the same time making his gunblade rather heavy so it would have more force in a single swing. At the same time, Lloyed pulled out his purple Katana. The light flickering on it reflected of to be a purple hue, and the purple reflections seemed to be running on the walls. His motions with his sword were so elegant as if it was a natural motion of water or air. With Arukab attempting an uppercut, it was parried by Lloyed, but the blow knocked both back for a split second. In an instant, Arukab took the weight off of his blade and became swifter and faster. Lloyed's purple blade started glowing black as it was filled with his dark energy. This was Entropy's Rage, a skill Lloyed did often. Arukab went on and continued the offensive, attempting to slash at Lloyed in the torso, but Lloyed's reaction was perfect and was able to parry every single blow. This was expected, so Arukab took advantage of the moment Lloyed was distracted and grew silver from his leg while he was slashing. Then he swept Lloyed's left foot from under him with a swift leg sweep. Lloyed was able to catch himself with his left hand and push himself up while also trying a slash at Arukab in his vulnerable moment. Arukab was on his best guard and managed to grow a silver plate just in time to protect himself from the slash.
Wylfred picked through the coats of a pile of bodies in the Newyork Alleyway. The heatwave of stench from them didn't seem to bother him as he discovered a wallet in one of the corpses coats. "Jackpot" Wylfred gasped as he pocketed it and moved towarsds a female body nearby.
These corpses were rich people of the uppser east side. Their jewels were free for the taking. Wyl snatched a peral necklace from the dead woman's neck and pocketed it. He felt quite accomplished. "These will be enough." Wylfred said as he forced himself away from the alley.
He had been diagnosed a kleptomaniac a few years back and sometimes couldn't help but to steal. He walked around the ruined streets of Newyork. Where would he even go in a place like this? Wylfred could hear the sound of police in the distance. "Time to shake it!" he said as he ran towards the abandoned department store in which he used as a shelter.
The store was three blocks away but he felt he could make it...
(OOC: Um I hope that post is okay with everyone...)
"STAND DOWN, STAND DOWN NOW!"
It was one thing after another. The group was becoming increasingly large with the addition of another human. Luckily, this one was older, perhaps being of more help in looking after the younger ones. Even more perfect was a stampede of charging humans that seemed to be heading their way. In any case, Ashe felt something wierd about these humans.
Mind control....or at least some form of it...
Her orders were clear. Help any surviving humans flee from the city. Her charges were only seeking survival. These were seeking senseless harm, even if its not their choice. Unless Ashe was able to defeat the source, then they were a threat. She raised ehr repeater crossbow and let loose. Ten bolts shot out, striking down six of the humans. Despite theim being dangerous, Ashe tried to avoid killing them, with four dropping to their knees. Two, unfortunately, died.
(OOC: This is directed at Shogun)
Woman. They cannot be saved through conventional means. I believe they are being controlled. incapacitate them.
~~~~~

It seemed to be a magic battle. The sword seems to be a bit for show rather than actual fighting, which somewhat places Brunhilde at a slight disadvantage. Melee fighting was her forte. Usually any range attack was delt with by Ashe. Anastasia Had backstepped rather far and began conjouring another spell. Hexagons formed and as expected, shot out s bombarment of energy attacks.

Heaven Drive!

From both palm, a holy ball of energy had been formed and each finger tips glowed with holy light. With a quick levelling aim, Brunhilde let loose her own attack, the balls of energy shooting out like a beam on an intercepting course for the darkness attacks, as did the ten Heaven Spikes. Explosions rattled the air as holy met darkness, engulfing once again, the area between the two fighters with dust.

There was a moment of silence and to Brunhilde's dismay and shock, two darkness bolts (?) shot out from the dust. There was no time to draw up her energy shield. The only thing Brunhilde could even do to suppress the amount of damage was to shift as much energy from her body around to where they were to hit. One gauntlet flew to her face, protecting most of it while the other raised with Duravel to her chest. The attacks slammed into her left shin and ther lower left part of her torso armour. It was a relief it wasn't in a critical area, but still, it hit. From the force, Brunhilde was thrown back a bit, but still managed to stay on her feet, skidding to a stop. The Pure Ones were indeed formidable. Much so that if she was to win, then it is inevitable that she should have to result to using "it".

For those of the deepest lost souls, i call apon thee...

Once again, Brunhilde's energy began to gather, this time all over her body, especially the back of her back. It was becoming intensly bright and the air hummed with energy. Both Brunhilde and Anastasia stared straight into each others eyes. They could feel that the next move was to be it. Either one of them have to fall here.

OOC: Well, i set it up for a draw if you want. You did say Valkyrie battle was ending soon, so i figured ti'd be here. She hasnt started her attack yet, so she can pull her energy back when it finishes.

Ellie:

With Taylana back on the ground, Ellie also descended on the ground, saying to the Elemental, "Had enough?"

"Ohhhhh, my beautiful warrior," Taylana chuckled, "Well, now... isn't that something? Seems you drew first blood... It's not every day someone manages that, Divinity."

Ellie responded with her own banter, "Well, isn't that a surprise..." She then raised her sword high, ready for any tricks she might pull.

"Play time's over..."

Ellie had to cover her eyes as Taylana surrounded herself with blinding light, followed by deep darkness. She used these to arc in various directions and at high speeds, with some of the attacks hitting their target, the light attacks did minimal damage, but stunned her a bit for the dark attacks to do some damage, doing some damage to her armor, and giving Ellie a bloody cut on the forehead, matching Taylana's.
------------
Kathrina:

"STAND DOWN, STAND DOWN NOW!"

"What the..." Kat said looking at the officer who was pointing his gun at a bunch of crazed civillians looking to tear the newfound group apart.

Without a second thought, Kat pulled out her Pistol, but the Alchimist had a bad feeling about this. While she had no problem killing in self-defense, there was the fact that there were so many to fight and to few of them to keep the fight.

Anastasia

"Don't bother," said Anastasia. A dark purple glow began to engulf her body. She waved her hand dismissively as the light engulfed her. "It is useless. There isn't near enough Chaos in this world for me to unleash my full splendour on you. It might kill me, and I have no intention of dying just yet." The light continued to glow around her. "Don't worry. The next time we meet will be the last. You will be liberated finally." Anastasia blew a kiss, which flew out as a hardened purple crystal of darkness,before finishing her teleportation and vanishing.

He was clutching his chest, where a dull pain was beginning to rise and throb. The green glow still wasn't noticeable, so he shook it off as heartburn. Had that bastard gotten him with his claws after all?

Now wasn't the time. He sheathed his weapon. "We have too get to this... Lincoln Tunnel, before we get killed! he exclaimed.

OOC: Short, but inspiration has gone critical.

SAUL

"And hitting him really helps does it?"

Saul gave the blonde boy a cheeky little smile, deciding it was best not to voice what he was actually thinking.

"I have no idea Aria, but stay behind me okey?"

So the girl is called Aria... Saul made a mental note of the blonde haired girl's name and rolled his shoulders as he waited for the mob to close the distance.

The boy Saul had knocked down quickly retorted, his lip a little bloody. Saul gave him one look before then looking down at his clawed hands. With a small nod, he removed the razor sharp weapons and slipped them onto the leather straps at his side, ready to grab at a moments notice. These people charging them were human...

He watched the bolts fly before reacting. "You, blondie... take the girl and get the hell out of here. I'll keep you covered. Keep running and don't look back."

He turned to look at the woman who had fired with a grave expression. "We want as many of them alive as possible, I assume..." flexing his fists, Saul's eyes narrowed on the mob now closing in. "I can't promise they'll remain conscious for very long..."

The warrior powered forward, pushing himself off his right leg to run straight at the mob. He crashed into three men, kicking off the ground to bring his heel into the back of the first. The human fell with a thump, unconscious as he hit the ground. The second took three sharp punches to the abdomen before Saul followed up with an elbow to the face. Dodging a strike from the third, the warrior used his new found strength to double barrel punch the man in the chest, sending him flying back into two civilians behind him.

Feeling a sharp crack to his left temple, Saul's eyes swam momentarily before he barely managed to recover his composure enough to dodge an incoming roundhouse kick from a lithe looking teenager. Spinning around the human, Saul's hand chopped out to connect with the pressure point at the back of his neck, sending the teenager to the ground. Saul paused briefly to glance back at the group. "GO, NOW! Get out of here whilst you can!"

Turning his eyes back to the mob, they narrowed into angry slits. "Come on you mindless bastards. Who's next?"

ARIA

The singer watched the Warrior run into the fray, concern in her eyes. Yet as he called back, she tugged at her brother's arm. "Koodori, we have to get out of here!"

Bronze eyes filling with unshed tears as the battle commenced and humans fell like bowling pins, the tiny girl turned away from the scene. "I can't stand it... I can't watch it."

She kept a tight hold on her brother's hand, fiercely gripping it as though it was the one thing that could save her from death itself.

TAYLANA

Taylana's face split into a malicious grin at the bloody wound upon the Valkyrie's forehead, a mark that uncannily matched her own.

"Seems you can bleed, Chooser of the Slain," she grinned, revealing her slightly sharpened canines. Taylana was beginning to feel the drain on her spirit and power after utilizing the three elements at once. This time she had to drive the Valkyrie off, for her own safety if anything.

The wind buffetted around them, picking up into a howling gale. Furling air picking up debris and rubble from the carnage of the city, and in an almost desperate attempt, Taylana commanded the winds to direct that stone and metal and all manner of other debris at the Valkyrie as lightning from the previously summoned thunderstorm crashed into the ground around them, electrifying the atmosphere.

The Elemental's breath was shallower than usual as she allowed the wind the caress her, dragging her away from the danger zone of the rubble. She would need to feed after this to restore her lost energy...

OOC: Alright, time to end the fight

Short post is short.

Ellie:

"Seems you can bleed, Chooser of the Slain,"

Ellie saw as Taylana used wind to summon gale-force winds that led Ellie to force herself to get ready, with Ellie slicing through various debris and rubble. She knew that is this battle goes on, neither will walk out of it in one piece. As soon as the Thunderbolt struck the ground, she covered her eyes, a moment later, Taylana was gone.

Sheathing her sword, Ellie, took flight and headed in the direction of where Brunhilde had her fight.

Koodori did not know what to do. He knew he could stay and empower theese people with his powers, yet he was afraid of doing so as it would render Aria defenseless.

"You, blondie... take the girl and get the hell out of here. I'll keep you covered. Keep running and don't look back."

Koodori looked at the man going into the battle covering for them to leave. Koodori clutched his other hand wile holding onto Aria and looked at the ground. Was he that useless to them all? Seeing the man fighting with such determination and strength made him somewhat jealous.

"GO, NOW! Get out of here whilst you can!"

Koodori bit his lip as he looked back at Aria for a short second, turning back to the dark haired man.

"You better catch up!"

Koodori turned swiftly and looked at Aria with a serious look. He was concerned about his sister and if that meant he had to throw away his calm nature for now it had to be.

"Aria, let's run wile we have the chance. To the Holland Tunnel."

Right before Koodori was about to drag Aria with him in one long sprint the woman that just arrived had a puzzled face on her look and approached Koodori.

"I'll follow you two sweethearts, you two don't seem very combat ready."

Koodori looked at her with a puzzled look himself before he started running off wile dragging Aria after him.

"You don't seem so combat ready yourself."

As they started running Crystal smiled before she started to take off aswell towards the Holland Tunnel.

"I have a few tricks up my sleeve."

- Yes I had permission to drag Aria with me from Vikki -
