In FF IV? Rydia!

Rydia saving the team from Golbez after training in Esper's world which the team thought she is dead after being attacked by Leviathan!

Hell yeah!

Not anymore, FF VI is.

Did you enjoy it?
Quite a bit, I had played several RPGs before in the NES and SNES but never Final Fantasy and it was quite a refreshing/new experience for me.

Was it the first one you finished?
Nope, I sadly had to return it to the friend who lent it to me before I did. VI was the first one I finished, then IV, V and Mystic Quest.

Who was your favorite character?
Probably Rydia but I also remember liking Tellah a lot.

What was your favorite scene?
The opening scene, I was hooked right away.

Would you recommend it to someone to play first in the Final Fantasy series?
Hmmm, don't think so...I normally recommend VII but may recommend VI or X instead depending on the person.

Is the game your favorite in the series still?
It actually never was, VI was my favorite until VII came along; VII is my favorite to this day.

Yes- I loved it! I had rented it from a movie club and it was glitched at a scene and I started crying because I was enjoying it so much

Vivi, I still think he's one of my favourite characters

The chase scene with the team in the airship and the black mages

Depends on what they'd be expecting to play, I might do

Yes. The graphics, gameplay, music, replay value etc was spectacular.

Surprisingly i didn't finish it because it was too hard. The Black Mages kept on defeating me.

Ramza.

One of the cutscenes.

Would you recommend it to someone to play first in the Final Fantasy series?

Most definitely. It's got everything you want in a Final Fantasy game.

No but it's definitely up there in my top 3 favourite in the series.

Yes and no. Most new gen gamers can't handle the graphics, and don't have the patience to read all the dialogue and level up, etc. To an older gamer, absolutely.

FF6, of course. Immediately after beating it I pursued them in order from 1 on, but had trouble finding 2, so I skipped, not getting to play 2 until after I had beaten 7.

If they can't get hold of the XIII trilogy!

Yes. FF9 must have been close though.

Strangely, my favourite scenes were those where you're in Midgar and the train is going around in CGI. I liked the Golden Saucer stuff when you're on the ferris wheel and all of the fireworks etc are going off too.

Would you recommend it to someone to play first in the Final Fantasy series?
No, not anymore. I think FF10 is the perfect place to start, with one of the best battle systems and some really great graphics for its time.

Is the game your favorite in the series still?
Nope. In fact, while I still enjoy it, the LP made me look more indepth into the story and I realised how dull it can get at certain points. I still really like all of the gameplay, music and cinematics though. Hell, most of the story is still fun enough to play along with :).
My favourite is actually FF9 now.
