This would really depend on the character of this warrior.

I don't know if all of these are characters from games / anime / whatever, so I can't really comment, or to know if some of them are made up or not.

Arthour would be fitting for a great, loyal and honourable knight character. Slate, on the other hand, could be a good name for a character who worked as a miner or lived in a mining town of sorts, but then became a warrior.
