Modern Theme

Final Fantasy Versus XIII has a very modern feel to it, much different from other Final Fantasies that we've seen. Personally I like that, but do you think that it was a good move forward or a possible mistake?

How do you think the game will incorporate things that are in every other Final Fantasy like Chocobos, Moogles, Mystical Monsters, Summons etc?

It's a good move, especially since it'll intertwine a darker theme much better than previous Final Fantasy titles. A more modern day setting is something that if produced well it could have massive rewards, especially since there's originality in it. I do think though that Chocobo and Moogles may become a limited feature of the game, possibly over huge open plains (as seen in one of the videos) for the Chocobo's and maybe Moogles in cloaks or something. As long as everything remains modern across the whole game I'm fine with whatever they do
