Help FFXIII: Cie'th

Can some one explain what cie'th stones do ,I know that:
Blue ones are for the trophy's only
Brown/Orange is to teleport.
Red is to open a new area.
but for what are Green cie'th stones?
and for what are Purple cie'th stones?
and Yellow is something with titan right?

I think those colours indicate how high ranked they are. I believe the purple ones are high ranked (I believe A) and green ones are C. About the yellow ones I'm not entirely sure. but I think that's a B and indeed for the titan trials it's one to teleport back. Not sure about this all, but I think it's like this. =)

thanks I was thinking: all colours do something exept for green, blue and purple so i was right but I was wondering if they did something...

You also get trophies for completing the green and purple ones. Thats the only thing it can do.

I believe the manual explains them.....It's all there in reading I believe If not then maybe game glitch?
