Need some answers

I need some help please

1. How do I catch chocobos?
I got a chocobo lure and some greens. Now what?

2. Technical Problems
I have windows XP, 256MB ram, 30gigs left on HD, And final fantasy VII. And I am on the world map right now, trying to catch a chocobo. and at some point in the game, it closes and says it has encountered an error and needs to close.

AND I HAVE NO OTHER PROGRAMS OPEN EITHER!!

if someone could please help, that would be nice.

theres supposed to be a problem with FF7 on windows XP with the chocobos, but i think that was just the races, theres a patch you can download that might fix it

1. equip the chocobo lure to a member in your party, and go to an area which has chocobo footprints on the ground, then walk around and you may get into a battle where a chocobo is there - throw the greens to the chocobo and defeat the other enemies before the chocobo stops eating.

2. have you downloaded the XP patch? if you havn't tell me and ill find you the link - i had similar problems and DL the patch - whci hcorrected the problems for me

thanks for the link man! i got this other patchm but it seems to me it doesn't work so i will try this one.
