I love Chrono Cross to death. I bought it YEARS ago on a whim (just saw it for like 8 bucks at Walmart, had my dad buy it, I'd never even heard of it before or knew it was associated with Squaresoft), took it home, and my god I thought it was one of the greatest things ever.

People give it baseless shit because "OH IT DOESNT FOLLOW CHRONO TRIGGER". Regardless that it doesn't have a frog knight going medieval on people's asses, it is amazing as its own game.

Another thing I liked was, though the first game involved travel through time (Chrono, duh), this game focused on the other sort of sci-fi travelling; travel between alternate dimensions. That, coupled with the insane amount of characters (like 44 IIRC) and several endings, man .. I think CC holds my personal record for "Game I've replayed the most from start to end".

The music was beautiful too. I did a cover of the song "Another World" if anybody wants to hear it.
