Have a few videos you wish to share?

While Ari and I were having our married spat last night , I thought about something that might interest a select few members.

As you know we've tasked a few staffers to come up with new and innovate idea to provide additional users to the forum. While I've seen quite the positive reaction, I wanted to open up the forums to a new venue, since we have quite a few talented people.

This might be an old venue, but we really haven't explored every avenue with it, so I wanted to ask...

Would anyone be interested in us featuring your Youtube videos on FFF? This would not only be featured in a thread but our Facebook and Twitter pages as well.

I know we have one member Greenyxi who enjoys doing "Let's play's" and I think it's an excellent idea to encourage more of it, or any other type of vids you wish to show.

So does anyone have a youtube channel/video they wish to be sponsored. Only current videos will be sponsored of course (weekly etc). I don't know all the details quite yet, but getting a show of e-hands on this.

Also there might be additional awards and such if we can get enough interest which include large point bundles.

I would be interested in this but my channel is currently just SDGO Gameplay Videos of New Gundams/Mobile Suits or Battle Videos of Dissidia I would like to Advertise for SDGO though >.>.

If I get a decent camera that can record my TV without bugs I'll see if I can do it XD

I do plenty of gameplay videos, but have been mulling over many different ideas which I'm starting to roll out. I have one (a tutorial of how to do something in Excel 2010) uploading as I type this, actually.

tl:dr - I would be happy to participate, but what kind of videos do you NOT want to put out? Aside from obvious rule breaking shiznit.

Jeff, I think we can work something out. I know folks have a wide array of stuff they put on Youtube. I can't say that we can limit it to just "Let's Plays" due to how few of folks we have.

To be honest this is the first time I have thought about the big opportunities this could open up the forum too. If we could get a video a month from each individual we could throw in quadruple the points of SOTW (4 weeks = 200 points/ SOTW = 1 week 50 points). Plus I'll personally hand out my points as a "tip", due to I believe it will draw more folks outside of the forums.

The only incentive is the video per month would need to be produced in the same month. Otherwise we would be pulling from old talent, which trust me, all of your videos in the past I'm sure are great, but to be fair yada yada.

In order to get the full points though, the link in the description would also need to point to the FFF thread in which you embedded the video. (accessible by all members)

This means you will also up your views on your youtube account . Again this is a work in progress, and due to Survivor coming up, we will need to start this after it, in order to keep focus on Survivor.

Video of the Month sounds pretty nice, and it would need to have a theme. Jeff's gameplay videos is a good start - maybe do a one minute capture of your best multiplayer gameplay in MW3, UC3, etc. Perhaps a 'best kill streak' votm?

For non-multiplayer videos: best intense gameplay (could be of any video games) would work well, I think.
