How to get Final Fantasy VIII looks better?

I once played Final Fantasy VIII and VII when I was young and now I have strong urges to play them again. I love this game series so much. I bought Final Fantasy VIII to PC but when I started to play this I noticed that graphics gives me headache:

So my question is how to get FF VIII look better?

I have watched Youtube videos and I know it is possible.

In the video there, they are playing the PS1 version in an emulator, and the emulators are usually capable of more flexible graphic configurations. Unfortunately, emulators are against the rules to discuss here.

But the most I know you can do in the PC version is have the resolution 640x480 instead of the PS1's original 320x240, which I think is default for the PC version. But you CAN get some Anti-Aliasing using ATI Catalyst Control Center or nVidia Control Panel. I'm sure you can find some online tutorials about how to force Anti Aliasing using one of the above, depending on which type of graphics card you have.

If you have an ATI graphics card: http://www.tweakguides.com/ATICAT_7.html (scroll down to the '3D' section and read up on Anti-Aliasing)

If you have an nVidia graphics card: http://www.tweakguides.com/NVFORCE_6.html (scroll down to the 'Manage 3D Settings - Global' section and read up on Anti-Aliasing, then use the directions at the bottom for 'Manage 3D Settings - Program')

If you have neither of these graphics cards, or you're in for some extra tweaks, I think you can find some graphic mods for Final Fantasy VIII's PC version if you simply Google it. I know there's websites dedicated to that. Beware that those mods and patches can be very buggy and may break the game and require a reinstall to fix.
Currently working on as hard as I can:
Xenosaga Episode III: Also Sprach Zarathustra - PS2
      Bioshock: Infinite - PS3

      The Longest Journey - PC
      Mass Effect - PS3

      Proud of completing (FF games):
      Final Fantasy I - March 13, 2008 (GBA)

Crisis Core: FFVII - December 5, 2010 (PSP)
Final Fantasy VII - November 22, 2007 (PC)
Final Fantasy VIII - January 15, 2010 (PSX)
      Final Fantasy X - July 1, 2011 (PS2)

      Final Fantasy XII - June 2, 2012 (PS2)
      Final Fantasy XIII - April 2, 2010 (PS3)
